"Had an emergency where my heating went out. There was no word from them for an hour when their voicemail says 30 minutes. Will update if there is a resolution. 1/16/14-Update: a month later I have another issue with my furnace where it stopped working. I called at 10pm to have the after hours team fix it, and have heard nothing for 8 hours. It’s -5 degrees outside. Please rethink ever using this company or even buying a Lennar home, since it’s clear they don’t care about their customers."

"Please ask them the price before they come out to fix. I just paid $600 for 30 minutes work that requires only cleaning up the condenser pipe line. They didn’t even replace anything. I know it can be expensive when they come over to fix something on the weekend. On the phone the guy told me about $350 for the work but I ended up paying $600. I didn’t expect to pay this much. Wow!!! Please shop around before reaching out to them. I learned the worst way."

"Super awesome customer service. They first tried to trouble shoot with me and said they would call back in a bit to see if it worked and in the meantime would find a technician. They called back as they said they would and sent out Michael. He was very professional. He was earlier than he thought he would be, fixed the problem quickly and was able to answer some other questions. Also, I should mention they did all of this 2 hours before my home warranty people even got back to me from a call I put in before I called Elander. Next time, I’ll go straight to the source."

"Elander Mechanical charged us $219 to balance our airflow and check our furnace. We did not ask for the latter service and the former service involved the technician walking around the house and adjusting dampeners for a half hour (you lift the vent and turn the dampener with your hand). The pricing wasn’t communicated to us beforehand and is pretty high for what you get. We found out later this should be a $100-$150 service. Would not recommend."
