"Charged me $18 for a spring bar. When I asked why so expensive for a $3 part, he said it was 12 for the part and 6 for install... even though I told him I didn't want it installed. Then I went back to get a battery replaced for a watch I've had for 15 years, he overcharged me again, and the battery lasted for about 3 months. Even though every other battery has lasted about two years. Wouldn't put it past him to be buying low-tier, knock-off type batteries. Not a trustworthy guy and definitely wouldn't trust him with anything expensive."
"I called ahead of time to see if he could repair my son's wrist watch - the second hand had fallen off and was just floating in the watch. He said he could fix it and to bring it in, so I went in the next day during regular business hours. It's located inside a business building, I almost drove past it. The shop is very tiny and cramped so my kids and I waited in the hallway while he was working, but he was super quick and it was literally only a few mins. Would definitely recommend."
"Excellent Service provided for my Watch maintenance. I have had a few watches serviced here. Very happy. Fair pricing."
"Brought my watch in for a battery replacement. He broke my crystal, replaced it with one which is no longer beveled, scratched the watch face slightly in several locations around the 12 and 1 location, and it now fogs up. Additionally, he took my $10 cash, followed by needing to take the crystal off again to remove debris, but had to glue the seal back back on and said "no charge", even though he already took my payment. Not sure if it was just an off day for E.R., but my watch is pretty much junk after he serviced it. I know it's just a Fossil, but I shouldn't have to replace a $225 watch after having a simple battery replacement done. I can't imagine how terrible of a situation this would be if it were a TAG Heuer, or Rolex, because without a doubt he would not have the resources or integrity to do anything about it. Cool... 0/5"
"Before I begin writing about anything else, CARRY CASH or CHECK as this place doesn’t accept credit/debit cards!!! (Reason for one star less rating) This watch repair shop is like a watch in itself that cannot cease its operations and the battery of which is run by this guy Edward. He talks nothing nice or unwanted. He gets your watches, asks what’s the problem and goes straight to work. The place looked like a time heaven with so many watches and clocks that decorate the shop. I went to this place yesterday based on some online reviews and as it was just a mile away from my home. The shop is part of a conglomerate of different other stores that’s in an office setup. It’s a modest looking store from outside and this guy is the one running the whole show. I had 4 of my and my wife’s watches that needed new batteries. I even tried a bargain as I had a bulk of battery change and one more watch for which I needed to cut down the chain by one loop. He flatly declined as he already offers the battery change at a competitive price compared to other shops. I had to run to the nearby Wellsfargo ATM to withdraw cash after I realized that he doesn’t carry card readers. By the time I returned, all the watches were ready. He worked like a honeybee which was satisfying to watch and I couldn’t resist clicking some pictures of his workmanship. This guy is so old school as he hand wrote a receipt that apparently had carbon copies and gave me on hand. If you are looking for battery changes in the suburbs, this is the place and Edward is the guy!"
