"This is a great pool and fun area with slides and a diving board. The rules around the swim test are obnoxious for me. If a kid 53” or shorter can bob 5 times and swim across the pool, they should be cleared to do all activities. The concept that they have to “scoop their arms fully out of water” the WHOLE length of the pool and then forcing them to “practice” to try again another time is a dangerous mentality. I also asked what happens if a kid can’t make it and got an “well either you can help or the lifeguard jumps in” answer, so that made me get right in. At the end of the day, if a kid can swim from one side to the other PERIOD they can swim 10 ft from the diving board to the ladder. I get watching your butts, but you’re putting kids in danger testing them over and over to just get in a water walk that is 4 ft deep or a slide that is shallow enough for them to stand. My kid tried your test twice while I swam next to him, and I was beyond proud of his ability to make it through it…twice. And he was still stopped from doing anything else unless he did it better…again. I watched another kid go through the same and he was as also incredibly disappointed. If this is a ploy to sell swimming lessons, you need a new marketing plan. Fix this and you’ll have a much bigger crowd than you get currently. Side note: check out Edina who has an incredible lifeguard crew and no test."
"Life guards were attentive and clear with instructions. My 4 and 6 year old enjoyed the shallow pool- it is nice the separate pools, for safety. It was nice having the option of family restrooms and the cashier was kind."
"Super fun and the staff is really nice. It is a beautiful facility and pretty well-maintained. They have really excellent zero entry pools for a little kids! Clean bathrooms, and lots of deck seating. They also have a concession stand, but I have not tried any of the food there. Five stars!"
"Very affordable and clean. My wife and I went during the Adult Lap Swim the other day. They are well staffed and keep the pool clean. The locker rooms were also clean and spacious. Cost $2 for Adult Lap Swim (6-7pm Monday through Thursday). I plan to go back again soon."
"What a great public swimming pool that has a little bit of everything for everyone in the family. Get there early as poolside chairs go quickly. My kids absolutely loved the two waterslides. Concessions are also very reasonable with prices standing from $1-3 for nachos, ice cream, drinks and more. We will definitely be back with the kids."
