"Great designer and great construction…. Plumbing and planning not so much. I recently did a whole bathroom remodel on my main bathroom. I went with Xpres based on the reviews. The designing and first couple of days went smoothly. It was about a $20,000 project, but I figured it would be worth it to ensure that everything was done properly. The first day I was told that there was a delay in pulling the permit, and that would push the bathroom project out by a couple days. (The project took almost two weeks). I was originally informed the bathroom would be about a week project. I had planned around this, as this was my only main bathroom. I contacted the project manager and asked her why the permit was taking so long. She said the city had delayed it. I found this strange, as being a project manager you should be familiar with the length it takes to pull permits. I called the city myself and they said the application for the permit had only been pulled at the end of the week before the project was due to start. The project manager advised me she had always waited this long to pull the permit. The city said permits always took at least 7 business days. I attempted to have my project manager call me so we could sort this out, and she never did. Only texted, which I viewed as slightly unprofessional, as I asked her twice to call me. Other than that issue, the bathroom itself turned out beautifully. The craftsmanship was great, and the guys who came out were very professional. Between them and the designer I worked with, it turned out great. Fast forward to four months later, and the drainage pipe that was installed under the sink starts to leak, leaking water into the drywall. Since the drain sits towards the back of the vanity and behind drawers, it was unknown how long this had even been leaking. I really wanted to like this company, and I think their design and construction team goes above and beyond. But from what I saw their managerial and plumbing needs some work."
