Trustworthy company with excellent customer service with a side of honesty and integrity. - Full Review - - Quick background for our situation - When the last of our two kitties (16 and 19) passed, we needed some serious help with the havoc one can only imagine two geriatric cats with various illnesses can cause. In the past, we’ve had other carpet cleaners out to perform their magic but compared to Superior Steam Cleaning, it was nothing more than parlor tricks and tawdry service. - Nitty and Gritty portion - Upstairs, year one. We were in need of a professional carpet cleaning service as one of our kitties had passed away - but not before leaving untold horrors en route to her graceful exit (We still love, miss, and forgive you RaRa). About a year or so prior to this traumatic event, we had hired a different company but being completely unsatisfied with the cleaning results by them (no I didn’t write a nasty review as my case could have been an anomaly), I called Superior Steam Cleaning, and asked about what he (Clint) thought he could do with our carpet situation. We spoke at length about what we had used to treat stains, smells, and how we (and others) had cleaned the areas prior to calling him. When Clint was at our house, we checked the carpets and pads with a moisture meter, examined the areas (carpet, baseboard, trim, etc) and talked about how to best treat everything we wanted treated. There was no pressure or hard sell tactics, just an honest and genial conversation about how best to proceed, the process, and what to expect. He also offered to come back afterward to address any areas that weren’t resolved with the cleaning. We decided to have the whole area treated for pet stains to be sure to get everything addressed (some pet illnesses contribute to the difficulty in finding accident spots - i.e. low phosphorus levels in urine, etc). Clint treated the entire upstairs area - carpet, baseboards, and some additional low spots where issues could possibly reside. The cleaning went well and our carpets looked great (no visible stains and smell was eradicated. The upstairs carpet dried and we were happy with the results. We decided we would be calling Clint again when we were ready for the downstairs carpet to be cleaned. Downstairs, year two. Our second kitty passed gracefully into the void, but not before she had picked up the mantle of carpet desecration from RaRa (We still love, miss, and forgive you KiKi). We had decided it was time to address the downstairs carpet, the stairs, and a small section of the upstairs. It was a hot spot for accidents as well as an area we had tried treating and cleaning. The pad in this section also had a higher level of moisture than the rest of the carpet, so it was a good candidate for a second cleaning to see if more could be pulled up. We called up Superior Steam Cleaning to work with Clint once again. He came out and we spoke about the best possible way to tackle the job. We decided to treat the carpets, stairs, and additional areas completely with the pet treatment (instead of just hot spots). Once again, our expectations were exceeded, our carpets clean, and our pet smells gone (not to mention the shame and embarrassment from having a smelly house lifted from our shoulders). Clint even went over a couple of areas twice (treatment and cleaning) to make sure he got it all. - Conclusion - Our carpets are clean, our house no longer smells, and we are happy with the results. The cost for all of this was not exorbitant and I would not only recommend Superior Steam Cleaning to anyone looking for professional carpet cleaning services, I would (and plan to) hire them again when the need arises."
