"We had a big oak tree damage our garage and fence on a Saturday. Called Strom Tree services. Guys showed up within 30 min (on a Saturday morning). Worked for 8 hours and got everything done we agreed upon. These guys are professional, hard working, and reliable. If I need any tree work done, I will give Donald a call. These guys are the real deal!"

"We have an ash tree in our backyard that's been declining for years. Big scary bare limbs ready to fall on our house. The Strom team came in in an afternoon and did good thorough work. A man was roped in and climbed the tree with a chainsaw, while a man on the ground maneuvering the big cut limbs with ropes so they didn't fall on our house or deck. Others from the team came in to haul branches to the front where they had a wood chipper and attached to a truck. They cleaned our backyard nicely after the service, made sure our garage roof was cleared of small branches and debris, and even cleaned the front street area. Quite the operation with many people involved over a 4 hour time period. Nice to talk with. Grateful for the great service."

"Overpriced, dishonest, and unprofessional... I contacted this service on Sept 17 because of the August 10th derecho storm in Iowa; they started "work" about 10 days later, but one of their workers got sick and had to stop. Then, a few days later they came back, and weren't able to finish again. A week later they came back with equipment but said they needed bigger equipment to remove the tree. I had to pay 30% of the job even though they'd only done 10-20% of it. They promised to be back in 10 days (Oct. 13) to finish. I had to track them down via phone on Oct. 13 and they said "a guy" would be there. Since Oct. 13, they have not responded to several phone calls and texts about the unfinished job. Today (Oct. 28), another tree company quoted me a better price for the remaining job, and are doing it today. In the end, I feel like they are overpriced, dishonest, and unprofessional. I would look elsewhere. If they were to refund me $750, I would be willing to amend this review and call it "bad luck and circumstances," but we'll see if that happens."

"We had tree damage after the August 10th derecho in Iowa that needed quick attention. I called Strom Tree Service after finding the number on a Facebook Iowa Storm page thinking we'd have to wait a while. To our surprise within 2 hours the crew was at our house, gave us an estimate and were ready to do the job. We had a huge silver maple that was splitting and unsafe for future windstorms so it had to be cut down and an ash tree with limb damage. They were both taken care of in 3 hours, all branches/limbs were taken to the street for curbside pickup and the yard was raked of debris. We were very satisfied with the work done by this team!"
