"I would highly recommend The Workshop to anyone interested in ceramics. It is a great place for beginners, with a strong community of talented and kind people. I had a great experience taking the Sunday afternoon class with Tobie, the vibes were good and the instruction was very personalized. I also worked with the Workshop’s owner Jennie to organize a pop-in for my office. We were impressed by her expertise, and also her ability to compress a lot of instruction into a fast and fun hour-long session. Everyone had a blast and was so excited to get their ceramics (glazed and finished for us by the Workshop staff). The whole process was made easy and fun by the fantastic staff at the Workshop!"

"Great place to learn how to create with clay! They have implemented a great safety plan into their learning structure so that everyone can learn the joys of pottery! The facility is clean and well organized. The tools used are disinfected after each class/usage. Everybody and their work stations are well spaced out. The instructors are very knowledgeable and skilled in this art form. I would highly recommend this studio for a beginner like me. Not everything thrown comes out as planned but it's such a challenging yet rewarding process to learn."

"This has been an amazing addition to the community. The owner, Jennie, has created a wonderful environment for making pottery on the wheel or hand built for people of all ages and all levels of skill. She and her employees are always helpful and create a welcoming atmosphere during classes and open studio time. Every question is patiently answered, demonstrations of diverse techniques given and assistance and encouragement, even of wacky projects provided. I have bought fun pottery, cards and jewelry from the eclectic shop in the front. When people come in off the street to check out the shop, they are usually greeted by a potter or employee in the studio, but then left alone to shop so as not to feel pressured. I’d encourage anyone to try a class, so much fun, if you can think it, they can help you make it."

"My recent group outing at The Workshop was awesome. Jennie was great - accommodating, patient, and super chill. She prepared a great space for us to spin and paint. There are some adorable local handmade wares (pottery, wall art, etc.) for sale in the front of the shop, perfect for gifting or adding a little charm at home. I'm stoked to go back."
