"Knotty Dog Boarding and Katie are so special that words are hard to find to describe the love and joy dogs experience. Up until 2 months ago we had 2-14 year old labs, sisters, Kona and Onyx. Onyx developed a nasal tumor and after many doctor visits we had to send her over the rainbow. We met Katie at Knotty Boarding and knew immediately that this was the only place for Kona after losing her sister and litter mate. We found a mass in Kona's abdomen which was removed, prognosis is sarcoma but we have some time. Two weeks later we had a family wedding to go to and Katie had agreed to take Kona after hearing that she had lost her sister. Kona had the time of her life. Katie and her boys take the dogs on walks to the river, snuggle with the dogs, and just generally treat them as their own. This gave us such peace of mind after all Kona had been through. I wasn't sure Kona would come back home with us after having such a wonderful time. There is no better place in Detroit Lakes and surrounding areas than Knotty Dog Boarding. Katie is very popular for that very reason so book far in advance. Knotty Dog Boarding is heaven on earth for dogs. Thank you Katie and family. You are the best! You all are special!!!"
"Katie is amazing!!! She provides a very clean and fun environment for our dog Casey. She takes them on adventures so they are not stuck inside a crate all the time. The crates are very roomy, clean , and a place you can feel comfortable leaving your pet. Casey loves her!!"
