"We were audited by the state as a result of Kraig's tax work in 2022, and upon hearing that we were audited, Kraig disappeared and never communicated with us, again. We came across a mutual client of his who shared a similar story and the rumor is that Kraig possibly had his license revoked and that a class action against Kraig might be in the work, amongst his clients. One of his clients was audited for 14K, I heard."

"I can't begin to describe the added stress Kraig has created in my already stressful life. He did my taxes for 3 years in which I was audited for ALL 3 years due to his process. Kraig was "working" on the audit and completely disappeared. I am a full time nursing student and this has completely brought on so much mental hell. I don't know what is going on but obviously something is very shady. I honestly thought Kraig was a reputable guy."

"Kraig WAS the best. Many folks are concerned about him cause he has stopped replying and his website is taken down. Its just odd and not like him to not communicate if he was shutting down his practice. Even tho he has screwed over many folks this tax year, many of us just hope he is okay. Would give 5 stars, but now its 1 due to his lack of informing so many of us of his career change. Hope you're doing well Kraig. Taxes are dumb & you were the best at doing them, but your mental health is and should be #1. Many of your freelance production clients are worried about you."

"I’ve used Kraig for over 10 years. He completely stopped responding to me when I inquired about my property tax refund. (It’s been 1.5 months) I ended up contacting the state to see if it had been filed when he said he did it in the spring. It was never filed. We also had time scheduled to talk in the spring regarding my filed taxes and I never heard from him after countless follow ups. Extremely unprofessional and I regret ever referring people to him. It feels like something shady is going on."

"I would give a zero rating but it is not an option. Until this year Kraig had done my taxes for 10 years without issue. This year he went off the grid four days before taxes were due. Even though I had all my information to him several weeks before the tax deadline, I had to resend several documents three times.. On March 8, 2023, I received an email reply to a query I made where he stated my taxes were almost complete. Haenke stopped returning all forms of communication on April 14, 2023 and did not complete my taxes. I was left hanging, with no explanation or even warning he would not be able to complete the job. I was forced to find another accounting firm to file an extension and have now incurred a late filing penalty and interest on what I owe. Haenke is a snake with no professional ethics. Avoid him at all cost, he does not care about his clients as he professes in his bio."
