"Do not trust Jeff Rose to get your taxes done in time. Expect late fees. You can send all of your documents to him well before the filing due date, and end up having to pay late filing fees. If you bring all of the documents to him in person, you might stand a chance of having them filed in time, but he cannot be relied upon to see or respond to emails, phone calls, or anything that isn’t an in person interaction. In my case, the incompetence of Jeff and his secretary resulted in me having to pay hundreds of dollars in late fees. On the rare chance that I didn’t manage to contact him, he admitted to paying an online marketing firm to get him new leads, which resulted in an influx he wasn’t able to handle. When I finally managed to convince him that the late fee I had to pay was his fault, he was good enough to write me a check A week later another late fee arrived which I attempted to contact Jeff about, but he ignored all my message and phone calls. I’m at the point now where I’m going to give up on trying to contact him, so I’m just going to leave him this review to warn others away from him and his business. Do not trust Jeff Rose. Expect late fees. Expect to be ignored."

I tell everyone who asks me (about tax preparation) that Jeff Rose is the one that should process and file your taxes."

"I went to Mr. Rose to file taxes for 2020. I have always done my taxes myself with the help of turbotax. This year, I had some circumstances that I wanted to plan for and needed input on. He was not able to offer input on those relatively common issues. In fact, he seemed to struggle to complete my basic taxes. In the end, he spelled my name wrong on the formal filing (which is a real problem), charged me more than was originally quoted, and was not at all insightful about my personal situation. Back to turbotax for 2021."
