"I reached out to them about an issue with my Minnesota taxes that they had prepared for me. I asked if they would follow up on this, or if I would need to do this. Didn't care about the answer, just wanted to know. This was in early March. Was assured by their office manager that this is something they would follow up on. "This is what we do." She asked me to upload all relevant documenation on the portal. Which I did. That was good news. But I kept asking (via email and voicemail) when I would hear something. Finally, on April 6, I got a call from my tax preparer who told me there was a number on the letter I received from the Minnesota Department of Revenue. I should just call them. That was it. And, by the way, if I wanted his help it would cost me more. I don't mind following up on my own. I just would have liked to know that a month ago. Office manager said, "things must have got lost in translation." Not so, because there was not communication from them despite my repeated requests for anupdate."
