H&R Block

"Gentleman at the front was very friendly but the woman pushing him out the door ( hurrying him to close up, an hour and 20 minutes early btw) was very rude. I don’t know why, but the businesses in this particular strip mall, tend to be very rude and are ALWAYS closing early! This lady was very rude and my taxes are messed up not to mention. My tax rep told me I owed 8,000.00 to state and when I told her that wasn’t right (I don’t pay state taxes) she “fixed” something quick n I owed nothing after that. Then I get a letter from IRS saying my taxes aren’t completed, more information is needed. I file my taxes the same exact way every year, not sure what was missed, but when we met in person, she was seeming to have a lot of troubles as well. I wouldn’t go to this location again if you paid me. Ran down to the Central ave location, after the early closing, and they helped me out immediately! I would chose anywhere but here!"

"Worst experience in my 19 years of filing. Went to Broadway location in N. Minneapolis. Had an appointment, sat 2 hrs with Joseph... Paid more than I had EVER paid in my life and later found out he didn't even file my State. Kept calling the office, was told he was fired and was promised a call back that I never received after weeks of calling. Finally called the 800 number and was told that I had to make another appointment to file my State and that the almost $600 fees didn't cover it. Total rip off!!! Unprofessional!!! I wish I would've went to Adams Tax service like I did last year. Professional, no hassle, no mistakes or problems and only charge $100. Forget that bait and switch offer of $3000 loan and save your money and time and find some where else to go!!! $600 for some incomplete half ass work that my kid could've done."
