He’s fast, efficient, and last year I had waited until the VERY last minute to submit my documents. I was expecting to file late but Wayne finished my items same evening- AND around 11pm if I remember correctly. He’s wonderful and will do all he can to file your items timely and efficiently."

"Attention future and current h and r block customers. The man who is praised in these reviews Dan was an excellent man and excellent tax person but he is deceased. My family has done our taxes with h and r block in mound for a very long time because of him. Even though it cost extravagantly more than most places we were more than willing to pay extra for his service. This year The secretary who (bless her heart) sounds overworked and severely under appreciated would not hear my problem, cut me off and put me on forever hold to not address a very small issue. I was mistaking told something was filed months ago. I left many messages when we never received it and nobody has been available for MONTHS. She didn’t care. Wayne didn’t care. Why would we ever pay for this h and r block to do our taxes ever again? We didn’t get service. We didn’t get an explanation. I recommend that you DO NOT do your taxes at the h and r block in mound. If there is ever a problem you will be ghosted. This is my experience and we were loyal kind customers. We would be fools to be do business with you guys again."

"Had taxes done 4/12/2021 with my significant other we wanted to try to get the best possible return. And so our "tax specialist" found us his best return possible. But it had me having to pay in $4500 and my sig other getting back enough to cover it. So we had to come back to sign after he finished preparing later that day as his next appointment was waiting so we signed and assumed he had done the work. My sig other sent a follow up email with no response. But as deadline became closer the status of the return was not received so i called on friday 5/14 and asked why they have not recieved and receptionist said because they were still in the file signed but not sent the she then says i think your preparer should call you. And he did i asked why did you not send? I didnt know your wife signed i said she did the next morning and also she follow up emailed you. I need that money to pay my taxes well im sorry it just got lost in the shuffle of things. I said so my interest i have to pay are you gonna pay that? since we paid you almost 500 dollars to do our taxes and one buisiness day before due and not even left your office? He offers a discount on next years taxes. I said this is unprofessional and i will be filing a complaint. And on Saturday 5/15 I did. Also my taxes were accepted at around 2 pm . On Sunday 5/16 i received a phone call from a H&R block representative stating this situation will be resolved by end of the day. I have heard nothing since and its 450 pm monday so i called the number of H&R block representative who called me and its the office of Eagle Creek Wealth Management What is going on with this i feel like im in the middle of a training exercise for worst tax service and how not to deal with it?????? UPDATE 9/22/2023 My taxes that year were incorrect and I was charged an additional $550. I tried contacting them again at the Mound, MN office I was told that my tax preparer had died and that the owner would reach out three weeks 6 calls by me nothing so o call corporate and they hear the story again and I am given a case number and was told there would be regional cistomer service people following up with me nothing its been 6 months and I've tried to call and given the run around and put on hold for hours. H&R BLOCK YOU ARE CON MEN WHO DUPE PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY WITH FALSE PROMISES AND YOU LIE AND WIGGLE YOUR WAY OUT OF YOUR MISTAKES AND OBLIGATIONS I WILL NEVER USE YOUR SERVICE OR ANY KNOWING COMPANY YOU ARE TIED TO. I'm sure you will never respond to this as you employ cowards so thank you for showing me just how greedy and dishonest a huge corporation can be. Good riddance at least it only cost me about $1700 to find this out not to mention the hours spent on the phone and stressing about this."

"Worst tax place ive ever been too. First off he didn't add my child tax credit and i had to tell him hes wrong. Then he put the last tax guys email in as mine after i gave him my email so this guy is emailing me my hnr block stuff asking to be taken off. Now i find out because of the emails that im getting forwarded that he put in the wrong routing number so my taxas got sent back and im getting a check. I paid over 300 for this guy to plug in some numbers and he couldn't get a email and a routing number right how much tax money am i losing out on! Makes me wonder now. Hopefully he put the right address so i get my paper check. Update they did put the wrong address also was super rude on the phone and said its my banks fault i called the bank and they said the only way you wouldn't get it is if they entered it wrong!So i had my wife call this office and they admitted to her they made a mistake and that we need to deal with the irs to get our money now. But they lied to me! Thanks for your computer generated reply! You guys are thieves i paid for a service and got nothing were is my 40 dollars that i paid for my direct deposit you wont even give that back"
