Drive to the office, wait while the tax person finishes ordering her lunch and then calls her boss to tell her that lunch was ordered. I get all my paperwork out ready to face the project. The tax lady then says, oh my boss isn't in today so I can only enter in a few pieces of your information on the online site. You'll have to come back a different day to finish the rest. Really?! Really?! I can go online and enter in the numbers from my tax forms, I can do that all by myself. I came to a tax professional to help me with the stuff I can't do. But that person obviously isn't available. But she can see me at a different office, only have to drive 35 more miles and wait for two hours. Do your homework. If you don't have a computer to enter your own information, go to the library and use theirs at no charge rather than paying this joke of an office to do it for you. Or make sure to schedule on a day when the tax professional is available and not the secretary who makes her own appointments. Edited:. Just got a call from the owner of the office. After telling me that he's so very sorry about the experience, then said the office is "doing their best" and if "I feel that taxes are so easy to do then to do them myself"! Great customer service from Joe. Also, the tax professional called and said that I'm not the only customer who has left without being helped, but it's only been "a few" clients..... Guess it's ok to lose a few clients here and there. I must be all wrong when it comes to operating a business. I thought that you tried to keep and gain customers."
