Reviews
"Update: A complaint was filed and now a review letter of complaint findings sent to me and guess who reviewed the complaint? Ameriprise did. So of course it’s a biased complaint review process to favor Ameriprise FA's actions, or in my case... a lack of my FA actions and a waste of time to complain about your Financial Advisor at Ameriprise. I would assume an outside entity would investigate wrongdoing for these issues but not at Ameriprise. I have attached the 2nd page letter that specifically states that “neither Ameriprise nor its financial advisors have the ability to predict or control market performance.” Hmmm, so why do we need a financial advisor then? My complaint letter sent to me by Ameriprise Biased Compliance Manager (that does NOT say or deny that he has his own FA, hmm??) also has multiple lies and inaccuracies, assumed given to him by Jason Lane my so-called financial expert. 'Encompass Wealth, the only people who are getting wealthy are the financial advisors here. I was referred to Jason Lane and he has been a huge disappointment in my portfolio. Lack of communication and unable to effectively communicate, no attention to detail, no expert analysis, NO degree in finance, trouble with scheduling appointments, lack of not knowing if accounts are FDIC insured, does not know company fees for transfers, and gets snippy at you when you share your opinions. The most communication I received from Jason in 14 months is when I got tired of his lack of financial expertise. I highly recommend you use email to communicate so you have evidence of above issues like I have to validate your complaints. Encompass Wealth are a group of Financial Advisors NOT Fiduciaries so they have no legal obligation or held to a legal obligation to make you money. Question: What profession can you get away with that you still get paid if you consistently lose someone else's money? Answer: Financial advisors. They are like Lawyers, they get paid if you win or lose. How convenient. The most controversial email signature of all time from Jason Lane: ''I'm proud to have been named a Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisor for 2023. While this is an exciting honor, helping my clients achieve their financial goals is the greatest reward. " How do you win an award for 2023 and the year is not even over yet? Hmmmm, questions to ponder, questions to ponder indeed. My quote about the Jason Lane Experience: "The greatest reward is I get paid regardless if you gain or lose money from my services." A quote I have never heard in my life...."Wow!!! I have the greatest Financial Advisor ever, he/she has really made me a ton of money." 3k-5k a year in fees, that's over 100k in 20 years to LOSE your money, think about that before investing with this group. I invite everyone to research the study that paired Monkeys against Financial experts picking investments from 1964-2004. Yup you guessed it the Monkeys picked better investments than the experts. 98 out of 100 monkeys performed better than the experts EVERY YEAR!!!!!! The process replicated 100 monkeys throwing darts at the stock pages each year....WHAT!?!?!!!!! FYI: The monkeys DID NOT charge any advisory fees' though. You have been warned."
