"I was actually asked to write my social security number on a piece of paper to make a deposit for a business account. This is an absurd practice. When I questioned why I was simply told “it’s policy.” I also confirmed I could’ve left the deposit in the night deposit box without issue. Poor customer service, ridiculous polices coupled with poor interest rates. The best CoreTrust can do is 2.50% APY for a SAVINGS account however, you need million dollars minimum. I currently earn 4% on my CHECKING account with only 10k on deposit at a local competitor."
"ATM only deposits 20’s on 500 draw. No fee nice. Don’t bother to ask for bill exchange must be a member to swap bills."
"I was a customer of State Bank of Delano for years, and was pretty happy. But now that they are CorTrust, I have some SERIOUS security concerns. A month or so ago, I had called several times to discuss my account, and never once on any of those calls did anyone verify that I was the actual account holder. No date of birth. No last 4 digits of the social security number. They didn't even ask me for the actual account number!! I just had to give my name and I was able to discuss specifics of my account, and even add a beneficiary. That is really scary to me. And what is even more upsetting is, that when I wanted documentation of the beneficiary being added to my account, the document I was mailed was not sent via certified mail. It had EVERYTHING on it: My full name and address, my full social security number and date of birth, my phone number, my email address, my full driver license number...it even had my signature!....It had everything anyone could possibly need to steal my identity. Needless to say, I'm super thankful and LUCKY that this document was delivered to me, and not lost, or sent to someone else in error. But I'm also super unhappy and scared at how lax this bank is with people's information. I'm seriously considering switching banks."
"Worst thing to come to Delano yet..went from black platinum looking debt cards to pink which is embarrassing shopping anywhere..I'm frequently asked If I'm supporting breast cancer I dont think a company that doesn't support breast cancer should use there colors for profit.should have an option for colored debt cards then I send my wife to cash my check and they told her they couldn't and I would understand..I've been banking with state bank for 12 years and this is the treatment I get..garbage I'd rather cash my checks at Walmart at this point. Not to mention the employees are crabby as hell at the end of the day which I get kind of..I work 60 hours a week and still treat people better than the bankers who are lucky to get 40 hours at this place. Do not bank here hours suck and people suck bring back state bank of Delano also after the buy out they fail to make it easy to find your account number and give no direction on how to maintain your account"
"When we moved to the area, we wanted to set up with a local bank so we chose State Bank of Delano. Their hours are not conducive to the average customer - no tellers inside the bank after 3:30 most days, things like that. It would have been fine if they had decent customer service - drive up tellers clearly weren't trained with customer service in mind, as on many occasions they never even said 'hello' to me when I was conducting business, let alone smiled or offered any extra assistance. I'll do more research before going with a local bank next time, which is sad."
