We found that at Momentum Dance Project after just one visit. Our daughter was welcomed to sit in on a class and the Director took time away to have a conversation with us rather than sending us an email with options. It was then that I knew we found the right place. "MDP has been our daughters' second home. Tara and her teaching artists encourage creativity, inclusion, artistry, and supportiveness over trophies and awards. All dancers are accepted and celebrated at Momentum, with the teachers serving as positive mentors and role models well after a dancer graduates. Dancers have more flexible class options, technique classes are separate from choreography for dancers who do not wish to compete, and the contemporary/modern focus is unique to the Twin Cities.
