"I met Jess when Xpand put a deck on our new home when we bought it 17 years ago. We were so impressed with their work and professionalism that we referred several friends and neighbors to them and there are many Xpand decks in our neighborhood! A few years after our deck installation, we had them put in a dry bar with custom cabinets that has become a centerpiece of our kitchen/eat in area. Recently, the fascia board on one of the exterior portions of our deck had started to work its way loose from the rest of the deck. The issue was strictly cosmetic, but something I tried to address via DIY. After I was unable to fix it in my own, I went onto their website on a weekend, and filled out an online request to have someone come out and take a look. Keep in mind the deck was 17 years old. The first thing on Monday morning I got a call from Jess and he came out to the house in 30 mins. I was amazed at the quick response! He assessed the situation and made arrangements to get us in the schedule and had his team come out to fix the issue. When they came out they were professional, polite, neat, cleaned up the work area, and fixed the issue. I would highly recommend Jess and his team for any type of deck, remodel, construction type work. They are great people to work with!"

"After my basement was flooded from a water main break I got a letter in my mailbox from Xpand, Inc. and I’m am so glad I reached out for a quote. I can’t imagine the experience being any better! From the initial design to the final build everyone was a total pro. The teams that Xpand subcontracted with on plumbing, electrical, painting, etc. took a lot of pride in their work and it shows in the final product. Everyone was so professional and kind! Andy is a phenomenal project manager. He was always available to answer questions, great at problem solving when we ran into surprises and kept everything moving incredibly quickly. During a very stressful time I knew that I didn’t need to worry about what was going on with the remodel because he had it handled and that meant everything! If this review doesn’t have you convinced my before and after photos should. I can’t believe this is my basement! Xpand will be my first call for any future home remodeling needs."

"Xpand was great to deal with. Jess from Xpand was at my house the day I called him. He gave us an estimate on the deck we wanted through their on line app the very next day. We excepted signed his contract on line and we where ready to go. The utility companies where out the day after that and then we got a copy of the building permit from their web site. The following Monday the lumber was delivered and the next day his crew showed up to began demolition on our front concrete steps and start on the deck. His crew was great, cleaned up after themselves each day and kept us informed as to what was next. Our 10' x 16' cedar deck was done in less then 3 days and with outstanding quality. "Jess and his team did a wonderful job on our TRICKY addition to a very old home. Between tricky access on a small lot in Minneapolis, unexpected foundation problems with our existing home, and even surprise shallow bedrock, Jess truly felt like a trustworthy partner on our project - rather than a contractor. Our project more than doubled the size of our 1893 home, with a two story + basement addition. It included coordinating concrete, engineering, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, excavation/grading, and insulation teams in addition to Xpand's framing crew, which is no small task! Jess was up-front about costs throughout, and we finished the project remarkably on-budget (given all of the surprises along the way). He was communicative and reliable. Most of all, we appreciated his flexibility in scoping out just the work we needed - as we are doing much of the interior finishing work ourselves. No up-selling, and even offering helpful advice/support for things that we are tackling ourselves. A family friend recommended Jess to us, and we now know why. If you're looking for an honest and no-nonsense contractor, you've found it."
