"My primary care during my initial appointment seemed extremely rushed and made me feel very much like an annoyance. Now I'm sitting having fasted for lab work and it's 2 hours past my appointment time. This is why the VA has a bad reputation."
"Husband appointment"
"From receptionist to nurses and doctors are all patient oriented people."
"I've been to the clinic for an eye exam and for an appointment with my newly assigned primary care doctor. Both times I encountered professional and friendly Doctors, nurses and lab technicians. The time I went to visit my primary care Dr. I needed an ear lavage and although my Dr. and her assigned nurse couldn't do it, they found someone else who could and he was awesome. I also needed X-rays and the technicians were friendly and the wait shorter than I expected."
"This clinic has the worst patient care I have ever experienced. Ive never had a poor experience at a medical clinic in my entire life until I came here. First, the doctor canceled on me the day I showed up to my appointment. They said a nurse could still see me so I said ok. They rescheduled me for another appointment for the following week. The nurse GEORGE ESPINOZA proceeds to read lab results of which HE IS NOT ALLOWED TO DO and tells me I have an incurable life threatening blood disease (I did not have this disease but an antibody response to the vaccine that I have had, but I obviously did not know this because I’m not a medical professional) I had a panic attack inside the patient room and felt like I couldn’t breathe. I frantically start calling the provider who put in the lab; no response or call back. I thought “ I have an appointment this week with the new provider so I will wait to speak with my new provider then” I show up to my appointment yesterday at 7:09 AM and they call me on my way to the appointment to tell me my provider wants to Cancel my appointment again due to scheduling error. Due to my severe anxiety over the blood test, I was was determined to speak to someone regarding my blood test results. So I refused to leave the clinic and demanded to speak to a provider about my results. The nursing staff said I was “super late” i arrived at the clinic at 7:09 AM, which is within the 15 min grace period, which I had to remind them, and in doing so , this angered them. I explained to them the nurse possibly gave me incorrect information about my lab results and I needed clarification. They did not care at all. The staff was horrendous including the nurse and the nursing supervisor , who looked like they wanted to fight me the entire time ,when all I wanted was clarification about the lab results that THEIR NURSING STAFF incorrectly gave me AFTER CANCELING ON ME TWICE both times the day of. I work full time and this is unacceptable. My experience with VA healthcare was great up until this point. I have filed a claim with the hospital chief and I have sent certified mail to the hospital director and member of congress Dina Titus and Susie Lee detailing this experience and everyone involved in this incident. Including the provider, nurse, and nurse supervisor."
