Western Sierra Medical Clinic 8665 Salmon Avenue, Kings Beach, CA 96143

"Let me start by saying that by the front staff is patient and kind. I drove two hours away to be seen by them though, and.. Now, I needed a medical clearance for surgery and even though they have helped and the doctor signed my clearance along with ekg, not everything was faxed through to my surgeon. I have been calling about basic hand written notes that need to be signed by the doctor and faxed over about my medical history. It should have been done the first time, as per written on the bottom of the form. 3 weeks later and my surgery coming in, the doctor refuses to a knowledge what I’m asking about, see me, or make a video appointment. Apparently it wasn’t mentioned even though the form that she signed, that was faxed in before my appointment, states it underneath. Trying to get this done, my surgery is coming up, I keep having the run around. Not sure if the last call got disconnected, but i’m 100% sure they hung up on me while waiting. Never got a call back, and refuse to answer my calls. My tone has been kind and patient. From the start. I’m livid now. How is it my issue if you refuse to acknowledge your patients needs? I have a surgery that I am highly stressed about getting cancelled now."

"Terrible clinic, I assume due to staffing. It takes me over a week to get my doctor to fill a prescription. If your someone with a chronic disease I highly suggest finding a PCP elsewhere."

"I was supposed to be a new patient but I wont be returning. I was called at 8:30 this morning by Western Sierra asking if I was available for a 1 o'clock appointment for today, in which I agreed and the appointment was set. I read the other reviews and was skeptical of this place already but decided to give it a chance. I drove 40 min. to get there to have them tell me all dental appointments had been CANCELLED and that they tried to reach me several times. I had no missed calls, emails, absolutely nothing and they were the ones who CALLED ME to set the appointment THIS MORNING. The blatant lie from the staff about trying to reach me was the icing on the cake, they couldn't even admit they had made a mistake. So almost two hours of driving plus gas wasted. Should've listened to the reviews I do not recommend coming here. If anyone has any dentist recommendations shoot them my way!"

"Not even worth trying to book an appointment. You have to fill out a new patient form and print it out yourself, the fax it to them and still have to wait a week for them to process your paperwork before you can even set up an appointment. Called 4 times and left several unanswered messages before getting through and finding all that out. I don't understand why it's so so hard to find a primary care doctor in this sh**hole town"

"Very friendly and helpful staff. We were in and out quickly which isn't typically expected from a clinic. Great experience for having to go to a clinic because of tooth pain. They do both medical and dental emergencies and appointments."
