"Even though it is not required to get a pap smear every year the Dr. refused to refill my birth control prescription without one. I had called several weeks before to confirm with the front desk that I could opt out of the pap smear and was told I would be able to. If the front desk had told me I didn't have that choice I would've cancelled my appointment."

"This place tells you have your paperwork filled out prior to your appointment or you may have to reschedule and if you miss your appointment without a 24 hour cancelation notice they charge you $25. Seems reasonable so I took the day off from work and arrived 30 minutes early to do my paperwork since I couldn't do that before today when my appointment was scheduled. So if it's not okay to not have my paperwork done before my appointment and to no call no show then why is it ok to let a patient sit in an exam room for 30 minutes after their appointment start time?! I had to get dressed and leave without being seen after waiting a half an hour after my appointment time so I could get to my other doctors appointment across town. This place has like a 3 month wait for an appointment but when you do finally get one and show up your time will not be valued like the office expects you to value theirs. Hopefully I can get my birth control somewhere else."

"If you are looking for quality OB care, look no further! Dr. Najima has been my primary OB-GYN for the past year and I absolutely adore her. My husband and I first found the practice after horrible OB care at a different practice in Reno; and at the time no other offices allowed the husband in the office except for Sierra Women's Health. From the get go, they were very quick to respond and get us seen. From the receptionists to Dr. Najima, all of them were very understanding, sweet and patient with us. Dr. Najima takes her time to explain everything she is performing. Her bedside manners are incredible, her personality is warm and bubbly; and she is very informative to new mothers. I have never had any issues with her or the office! They even respect my fear of needles and do their best to make sure I'm poked as few times as possible. Lately, Dr. Najima has not been available when my appointments are scheduled so I have also been seeing Dr. Farringer and I would just like to add that he is also on top of his game, very sweet and gentle with me and just as informative. I always feel welcome in their office!"
