About the Business
Mackay Science is a prestigious university located at PATH1, Reno, Nevada, United States. The institution was dedicated in 1930 and was a generous gift from Clarence H. Mackay to serve the Departments of Physics and Chemistry. Designed in a Georgian-style with Ionic pilasters by architect Frederick De Longchamps, Mackay Science was considered one of the most modern science teaching facilities in the West at the time of its opening. Today, the building is home to the Department of Geography, known for its excellence in teaching. Several faculty members have been honored with the F. Donald Tibbitts Award, recognizing them as some of the finest teachers at the university.
