"Terrible pharmacy. They don't fill autofill's, the line is always 10 cars deep and the line inside is just as bad. Be prepared to dedicate a good 45 minutes to the line. There is no quick trip to pickup rx."
"Every time we try to pick up a prescription they say it'll be at least 20min. I called it in the night before before & they don't start filling it untill we're there to pick it up. We will be swapping pharmacies."
"I didn't even receive the 'after the fact' notice by mail that both my husband and mother received saying that Smith Caldwell Pharmacy had sold out to Walgreens. I requested that my prescriptions be transferred to another pharmacy a week ago and they were not sent. I was on hold with Walgreens for one hour 15 minutes during which they only answered 3 other calls (according to their recording). The person who finally answered spoke over me the entire time I was speaking and would not tell me her first name. Smith-Caldwell owed me 10 pills on a prescription when they closed without notice, so I asked how I was going to get the pills that I already paid for. No response. The person said if I wanted my prescriptions transferred, the other pharmacy would have to give them a call. Been there, done that, new pharmacy said Walgreens told them they were not doing any more transfers. I asked to speak to Holly Hodges (the person who signed the letter from Smith-Caldwell about the closing) and was told that she was not there. The unnamed person then told me that I could call back tomorrow and speak to Christina (after being on hold for one hour and 15 minutes today). I asked again how I was going to get the 10 pills that were owed to me by Smith-Caldwell that I already paid for. The unnamed person said "I'm not a Smith-Caldwell employee" and hung up the phone. No one is a Smith-Caldwell employee anymore, so I guess everyone who was owed medication that they already paid for is just screwed. I also had new prescriptions on file with Smith Caldwell that Walgreens will not honor. People should have been notified of Smith-Caldwell's closing with sufficient time to move their prescriptions to a place of their choosing. I have learned that this type of 'behind the backs of customers' sell-out of pharmacies is unfortunately legal. Both Walgreens and CVS actively pursue the acquisition of privately owned pharmacies. Even though by "selling" their customers to Walgreens, Smith-Caldwell passed off confidential personal identifying and health information without the consent of their customers, I have also learned that this is not a HIPPA violation, even though it should be. This "no notice" action is inconsiderate on the part of Smith-Caldwell, but Walgreens is not innocent because they are refusing to allow the transfer of former Smith-Caldwell customers' prescriptions to other pharmacies (also legal but definitely unethical). The only way I can get my meds somewhere else now is to contact each doctor and ask for new scripts to be sent to the pharmacy I have chosen. Elderly people like my mom (94) who don't have anyone to sort all of this out for them will go without medication. A lot of people will end up being harmed because of this corporate business deal, which could have been handled differently considering the number of people who have been loyal customers of Smith-Caldwell for decades."
"If I could give a zero I would. They don't even deserve 1 star. I was a long time customer of Smith Caldwell. They sold out to Walgreens. Several of my scripts didn't transfer and I was left with all the peg-work of getting new scripts from my doctors. Walgreens did NOTHING. The wait times on the phone and in lines at the store are horrific. Their current rating here on Google is in the 2 star range. So I am not the only one who is screaming RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! Find a locally owned pharmacy who will take much better care of you. At Walgreens you are just a number. It's like visiting an IRS office. No service. They don't care. Ans SLOW, SLOW, SLOW! Run away NOW!"
"These lines are horrible. Both car lanes are open and the inside lobby is closed. There are 13 cars in each lane. They recently bought out a local pharmacy and are making new customers fill out forms in their cars when the heat index is 103. We are going to Eastside pharmacy."
