"My child has said multiple times there isn’t enough breakfast for everyone. The other issue I have is this school doesn’t have much of celebrating individuality. They seem to have stock in all uniform store because the kids can’t even wear their own sweater inside the school. Their uniform policy is more strict then corporate office I work in as an adult. After this school year I may be pulling my child out. This school is too cookie cutter and she seemed happier in regular public school"

"Our son is special needs and has thrived since attending CIVICA. Teachers and staff are transparent about all things related to his development and have worked with us to help him reach much greater potential than what we previously experienced with CCSD. He has an adequate amount of homework for first grade to develop good study habits. We also use several online learning programs the school provides to students at no cost, such as ST Math and iReady, to reinforce math, reading and comprehension when time allows at home. Uniforms make it much easier to get dressed and out the door each morning. We are grateful for his teachers and SPED team who are invested in his education."

"I am proud to put my child in a school that will guide her academically and motivae my child to actually tell me that she loves school and that she wants to stay at school. I hope to see the school grow and build. I've recommended Civica to others new and relative alike. The only small issue that I have is the movie theater next door has an empty lot that probably should give to civica so it can make use for an extended drive through or parking for parents to safely access their kids or and or have a stop light for pedestrians to cross the road to the smiths parking lot instead of playing chicken because lord knows I've seen more accidents in this area than i have in my life and it would be a shame for any family or students to get hurt. "This Academy is not as great as I thought it would be, discipline wise. They waste more time on behavioral issues, by having all students do Sentences/Standards as punishment, take their recess away for being noisy during their lunch time, and the admins seem to encourage this during the childrens educational time. I have written to Dr. BREIR regarding this issue and also regarding other issues with no avail, I haven't seen or heard any changes have been made. Even some teachers are considering leaving the school, we already lost one good teacher, how many more are we going to loose. This will interfere with our childrens education and getting used to new teachers every time. I know of a couple of families not returning after Thanksgiving break. It's understandable that this is a new school but please get your act together. Public schools have a good behavioral system why can't you."

"I am very happy that I chose Civica for my son. He is currently in 2nd grade with Mrs. Genanyan, and we think she is fabulous! My son is very happy, he really enjoys going to school and he loves his teacher. She is very sweet and dedicated to her students and makes each one feel special. Thank you very much for all you do, Mrs. Genanyan. And thank you very much also to all the staff, for what you do daily for our children."
