"Terrible communication by store staff. Wouldn't ever trust this location to touch a pair of my boots. Requested clean, oil, and tuff toe and left the boots for four business days. They didn't clean them, didn't treat them, applied tuff toe differently than I requested, the epoxy tuff toe still isn't set and epoxy is leaking all over my boots. When I called to achieve some remedy I was fully dismissed by store staff. Words were exchanged and I've been left with resolving the issue by way of credit card dispute. THANKS for ruining a $350 pair of boots!"

"I will start with I love red wings boots, I have several and I love every one. This store is terrible at their job, they told me they couldn’t/wouldn’t do a restitch on a pair of boots that was still under warranty and I took to the store in Sacramento and they had it taken care of in a matter of days. I brought in boots to have oiled which at every other location I’ve ever been to has been something taken maybe half an hour of they’re busy and they told me it would be two days. Not to mention that they were super rude about the fact that it would take longer than it had any reason to. There was one other customer in the store and two people working"

"Horrible customer service. I have never bought Red Wing shoes before and my employer sent me there because they sponsor buying work boots through them. I went online as a rep instructed me to do and found the style that I was looking for. I then went to the local store to purchase the boots. Initially I was greeted politely but when the employee saw that I had a work-related voucher their tone suddenly changed with me. They proceeded to tell me that they did not have the style of shoes that I was looking for nor had they ever. When I showed them the Red Wing shoes website in which I found the shoe on which was given to me by a red wing rep they try to lie to me and tell me that it was a fake website. They then proceeded to tell me that the price point that I was looking at was impossible because the cheapest shoe that they had was $300. When I confronted the employee on her misinformation a heavyset male employee proceeded to tell me I needed to leave and never come back. Mind you there were similar style shoes on the shelf right in front of me that were far less than the price point that this employee tried to give me of $300."

"Outstanding service from both Mike (in May 2023) and today by Amy. They worked with both my sons to ensure they got the work boots they needed, appropriate inserts and even helped get socks! Huge HUGE thank you especially to Amy for helping a momma take care of her son’s purchase from 3k miles away! Highly recommend this store to anyone in the Reno/Sparks, Nevada. Excellent experience and service in store!"
