"what stays in school stays in school whats not in school stay outta school i dont care if a student goes there thats none of your concern , racist school, disrespectful to students , i once saw a teacher spit on a student, and they wont be fair as in last year we had a nice teacher they fired her bc everyone loved her and she wasn’t “strict” enough. I myself overheard teachers talk smack about me and african , black , and ethiopian students. This is unacceptable they said i cause drama when really i never caused that much drama i was involved in drama. This school will ruin your child's life its like prison being watched every minute every second , hour by every teacher and camera . The education is fine but their so strict when they teach. THIS SCHOOL IS PRISON."

"Way too strict and the teachers are just racist. Ms. Cates is the most rude faculty member I have ever seen reigning teror on all of the kids. The teachers love to abuse their power here and are very rude."

"On one of the last days of school, one of the principals Ms. Cates sent so many students home because they were not in dress shoes. Unfortunately those students had to miss the last days to say goodbye to their friends, and miss the fun assemblies we had. With black tape, Ms. Cates made the students tape their shoes with black and made them walk around with them. How humiliating is that? I honestly think this was taken way too far and this school always has staff that does this in any shape or form. (only some staff.) And to those who want to come here, don’t worry about the dress code issue, if you guys can’t afford shoes then that’s okay, normally all you get is detention. Today was different however, because Ms. Cates was in charge. Students told their parents about the taping shoes issue and they did not believe any of the school staff would do something like that. Going on from staffs, so many has favorites and are rude to other kids. Other reviews are very accurate as well."

"At this school the teachers play favorites with their kids, and the student counselors are never available, this school is not the school you want to go to if you want a good fair education for your kid. The seniors don't have to follow rules, the lockers are bias to give top lockers to the staffs students and not the tall ones who need them, another student is 6' tall and he needs to sit to reach his locker. So in short this school is bias twords staff students."

"We love this school and everything about it. We love the values they instill in our children, the uniforms they wear, and the level of education they provide. They are very firm in their policies and some may find it too strict, but that's why we love this school. They had a most amazing assembly for veterans and honored each one and thanked them for their service. The car line runs pretty smooth to drop off and pickup your kids. The staff and faculty are very nice and professional. The teachers we know are very passionate and are experts in their field. They provide education from K to 12th grade. There is an application and proficiency test to get in and a lottery system if there is too many applicants. If you are serious in you child's education and want good wholesome education with no common core American Preparatory Academy is the school for you."
