Somerset Academy, Aliante Campus - A College Preparatory School 6475 Valley Drive, North Las Vegas, NV 89084

"im not one to complain about stuff but this school was just terrible, as a student there since 5 grade, which now in high school, my experience was just terrible. Most of the staff is extremely rude, and doesn't believe much of what the kids say, kids there are rude and have no respect for anything and the school is very understaffed, dismissal is extremely bad. Being allowed to use the restroom can be taken so easily, and rumors are spread very fast. I never had a good experience at that school, its do easy to lie to an adult and for them to believe you because they are just one sided unless given proof. I was caught so many times in the office just because the kids did not like me and it was so easy to lie to anyone. I would give this school a 0 star if i could for the experience me and other kids have had to go through. Extremely terrible. The only good thing I liked about this school wad the principal. Ms Manning is extremely kind, and is fit to be a principal but the rest of the 4 years I was at this school was just bad. Not to mention that it is right by another school and next to 2 different neighbor hoods, students would also be kept out in extremely hot heat, and lunches were very unfair. Would not recommend this school."

"This school was a great school but the kids here were honestly terrible and after going to the office many times nothing really happened. I was constantly harassed, rumors were spread about me, and many students turned against me, and I faced racism a lot especially when I had let my natural hair down. It was only my first year there. Some of the staff only two didn’t like me because of rumors and one of them even openly said something after something I shall not say. I felt very uncomfortable being in that school after the first 2 months and especially that last month. Though it isn’t entirely the schools fault mainly the students. Although, I did like some of the teachers there. 8th grade ELA, Pre-Algebra and Geography. Also the leadership there was amazing. Even though I wasn’t liked at that school I still had an amazing time with my friends."

"We were one of the lucky families to be accepted to this brand new Somerset location. My daughter is in Kindergarten, and she absolutely loves it. There were some issues at the beginning of the year, but it was a brand new campus, they needed to figure things out. My daughter had anxiety for the first 3 weeks of school, and the teacher was kind enough to reach out to me and help brainstorm ideas to help her. I was very appreciative of that. Drop off has become very easy to do through the drop off line. I’m very pleased with school and staff."

"Cant beat the small class sizes most only have 25, and I really love the idea of the SAME school until my daughter graduates highschool. Much better than 40+ students to a class in public schools and changing schools 3x. And wearing uniforms has helped my daughter make friends a lot easier."
