"Had never had Indian food before, I saw a couple trying it and they said it was good. So I googled Indian food and Taj Palace was rates high. So I ordered butter chicken, garlic Naan and chicken samosas. The food was amazing, will have to go back and try other dishes, just can't do too spicy."
"This place was packed. First off, it’s disappointing to see a waiter getting your bill just after 5 minutes of you starting to eat. Indirectly asking us to leave? The buffet bowls and plates are unhygienic, they weren’t properly cleaned, as we can still food and residue in them. Except saag paneer and naan, none of the food tasted good, all the meat items were dry. Even after consuming very less food, I had bloating the whole day after having lunch at this place. Not sure if something is mixed in the food. All this confuses me, how could this restaurant possible attract so many people?"
"A Disappointing Experience at Taj Palace Indian cuisine I recently visited Taj Palace Indian Cuisine, an Indian restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Here's a breakdown of my disappointing visit: 1. Unpleasant Service: The service at Taj Palace Indian Cuisine was far from satisfactory. Our server was not only unhelpful but also arrogant in his demeanor. When we inquired about sharing a soup, the response was dismissive and delivered in a condescending tone. Additionally, our request for a vegan biryani without paneer, an option clearly mentioned on the menu, was met with confusion, highlighting a lack of understanding of the available choices. 2. Incoherent Menu Descriptions: We ordered a vegetarian platter, expecting a variety of items. However, what arrived was far from what one would typically consider a platter. It included 2 samosas, 2 kachoris, and 4 manchurian balls. The term "platter" was misleading and did not accurately reflect the dish's contents. 3. Subpar Culinary Experience: The food quality at Taj Palace Indian Cuisine was a major letdown. The gajar halwa was insipid, resembling a paste with added color and sugar. The mango custard, while slightly better, seemed over processed and had an excessive amount of dalda. Both dishes lacked the authentic flavors one would expect from an Indian restaurant. 4. Communication Issues: When asked about spice levels, the server insisted on a scale of 10, despite my preference being 4 out of 5. This miscommunication was not only confusing but also delivered in a disrespectful tone. Furthermore, when the curry lacked salt and spice, we were told to adjust it ourselves, which seemed like an inadequate solution. The server justified this by saying, "Each customer will have different salt and spice levels, so we do not add it, and you can add it as needed." This statement raised questions about the purpose of inquiring about spice preferences if the kitchen wasn't willing to accommodate them. 5. Overall Experience: In conclusion, my visit to Taj Palace Indian Cuisine was disappointing on multiple fronts. From the lackluster service to the subpar food quality, it felt like a regrettable choice. I would caution others against visiting this establishment unless they are willing to endure ill-treatment along with a less-than-satisfactory dining experience. I sincerely hope Taj Palace Indian Cuisine takes constructive feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to provide a better dining experience for its patrons."
"#TajPalaceIndianCuisine is a Great Indian Restaurant. I’ve enjoyed the Lunch buffet. They had Lots of choices. They Provided Beautiful Pillowy Naan. The buffet dishes have some heat but Not overly spicy for the gastric challenged. Of course I added more heat with chile sauces. Their regular Dinner menu is wonderful as well. I love going to Taj Palace Indian Cuisine when I’m in the Las Vegas area."
