"When I first applied to Rasmussen it was a great experience. Advisors, admission staff and counselors supplied all the resources and answer all of my questions in a timely manner. But once starting the program it was a completely different story. Advisors and admissions no longer were able to help you. If you had any problems you were to address the dean. The dean would ignore or take almost a week to answer urgent needs. The program is very disorganized. I have been in a nursing program before that was very organized and coordinated. Which Rasmussen is not. There is no communication between staff and students. As an LPN entering the LPN to RN program I was still placed in my one and only on site clinical in a long term care facility where I did not learn any new skills. I continued the skills I use daily at my job. The amount of money paid at Rasmussen is higher than other places which I would expect the quality of learning than other facilities but actually found worse. Schedule changes even once school has started, even a couple weeks into school. There is no respect from faculty to students. I would not recommend applying to school at Rasmussen."
"When I first started looking into going back to school, It was overwhelming and I felt unsure. I called several schools and Rasmussen was by far the most helpful. They made my decision to go back to school a smooth one. The admissions staff, and counselors were there every step of the way encouraging me and getting me comfortable. They helped with credit transfers, picking classes and much more. I felt very comfortable starting my classes, and I had amazing teachers and learned so much. I graduated and it was the best feeling ever. During my time as a student at Rasmussen, I had the opportunity to do work Study as well. This was another amazing experience through Rasmussen University. I was able to work and study during my downtime at work. It was an fun job, I learned so much, and I was able to help other students and staff and use my free time to get my homework done. It was such a great experience. The staff I worked with were so supportive, helpful, encouraging, and positive. I would highly recommend work-study to anyone who has the opportunity. It made such a positive difference in my life. I have only great things to say about Rasmussen University and my work-study experience, and I hope you have the chance to experience this also."
"Excellent experience at Rasmussen College completing my Healthcare Management degree. Lots of opportunity for tutoring, virtual study groups, and a lot of help from my senior bachelor completer advisor Brittany! So many different types of classes that allow you to learn at your own pace, and the ability to test out of classes at a low price. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Rasmussen."
"Attending Rasmussen College is the best choice I have ever made in my life. I started in 5/11, achieved my AAS 7/13, after the fall 2014, I will be achieving my Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Is there any simple words that explains how exciting that is? Rasmussen staffs, instructors, talk about online classes, awesome! I have no doubt in my mind that, after I graduate I am going straight to work. Rasmussen has equipped me with the tools of success in life. Thank you Rasmussen College!"
"I have been a student at Rasmussen since 2010 and have just started the process in obtaining my BA degree. I have enjoyed my experience here at Rasmussen; the staff and instructors really care about your progress and are always willing to help you in anyway they can. When making the choice to go back to school; my first thought was that it was going to be some what like high school, but that's not the case here at Rasmussen. The instructors here are amazing; one things that I truly love about the instructors here is that they truly understand their field and are willing to learn new things from their students. I would recommend Rasmussen to any of my friends and family members."
