They were great, and we can’t say enough good things about them! Their teaching style was on point and encouraging, even when some skills felt challenging. They were kind and had a professional sense of humor. Most of all, they shared their lived experience to discuss safety, and this theme was woven throughout the course. I’ve attended a lot of training over the years with a long career in law enforcement, and this was one of the most comprehensive courses I’ve taken. "Everyone at Silver State is fantastic! I had no clue what I was doing the first time I got onto the bike, but they walk you through everything to make sure you are comfortable. The classes are smaller so you do get 1 on 1 time with the instructors if they see something you can improve on and they encourage questions. Since you have the smaller class, you get to go through the exercises multiple times to really get a good feel for what you are doing. Thank you Silver State Motorcycle Academy!"

"This thank you is long overdue. Thank you Al and Teri First let me say, take this class. It's worth every penny, especially if you value your life. Do not take those words lightly. Wear full gear! Myself and a friend attended the academy offered by SSMA back in March 2014. I still to this day recall and utilize many of the things they teach, and more so reinforce. I constantly have referred and recommended to people I've come in contact with to take this course with Al and Teri (this is who taught it back when I took it). The biggest thing I gained from taking this course was putting my own ego into check, and getting help to develop skills to break bad habits I had developed over riding for years. I am by no means a perfect rider, and at times my ego creeps in (we all have one), however I can certainly say with great confidence their course gave me numerous tools that have kept me alive, and kept me riding to this day. Prior to the course I had no MSF training and rode for years with a super inflated ego. Taking their course helped put that in check, it helped wake me up. They really opened my eyes, and my mind to new things and were able to show me problems with my riding skill that I had assumed was really good prior to the course. After the course, and many years later I am still riding, and I am a much different rider than I was in 2014, and a literally not the same person prior to taking their course in 2014. I've been through my share of mishaps, and even through those I was able to take away lessons to be learned, and this again came from the MSF opening my mind. I now ride and own several Aprilia's, I've traveled all over the states on the back of a motorcycle, I can ride on street, track, and off road and continue to develop, and break bad habits as I grow. Sadly I have also watched, and lost numerous friends and acquaintances. Many of which refused to take an MSF... I want to stress again, this course is worth every penny of your life. If you want to ride, and if you already ride, just take it. Leave your Ego at the door, never take it with you on a bike. Wear full gear! This course should be mandatory. Thank you Al and Teri"
