"For what it is, it's a five. Small park right off Cantrell with a nice little lake and some easy to moderately challenging trails. The upper trails that run the power lines are grown up right now. They lead to two rivers park. At times, there's a good bit of trash around the lake. Seems that folks like to eat lunch or drink around the lake. It's why we can't have nice things, right! Parking is limited. Dock, picnic tables, NO restroom. If you go up the right side, the church has a little park. I really enjoyed it. Such easy access."
"The entrance is easy to miss. To the East and across the street is an office building named something like CO♻️RE with a Raymond James office to use as a landmark. The two main activities to do here are to fish in the pond and hike. It's possible to hike down to Two Rivers Park from here. There is no bathroom, unfortunately, there is always trash in the parking lot that I pick up and the cans are often overflowing. There are a couple picnic tables I saw just past the parking lot. There are a few wooden benches around the pond."
"First, there is no bathroom or drinking fountain in the park at all, so come prepared. There are tables for a picnic, but also quite a bit of bugs, so you can decide if it is worth it. Second, I know I did a review 2 years ago, but I find after reading some other reviews that I need to correct some misinformation. There IS a playground, no, you can't see it right when you enter the park and does not technically belong to the city, it belongs to Grace Chruch but is open to welcome any kids passing by. To get to the playground, you need to walk around the lake to the beginning of Eagle Trail and then go up the hill for just a little bit. My kids can get from the parking lot to the parking in 5 minutes tops if they aren't distracted along the way. You will see it on your right. You can NOT see it from the bottom of the hill, so don't give up until you have gone up ;). There is a fishing spot, and I have seen people fishing there. If you don't have your own fishing equipment, the Central Arkansas Library System rents out rods and such so you can try your hand at it if you want. As for trails, they are all dirt trails, so if it rains, they can be mucky, but not as much when there are leaves in the trees. They all start as Eagle Trail and then diverge accordingly. Dr. Tom's Trail is shortest and fairly level except two moderately steep slopes, my young children handled it easily, so... Eagle Trail has some pretty steep hills, which my somewhat injured knee did not appreciate, but I could do it slowly. The Twin Rivers Trail takes off at the top of the hill from Eagle Trail. I have never taken that one to the end because my young children couldn't take it. We did go down the Twin Rivers trail quite a while, and at one point, it had the option to go up or continue. We went up, and it intersected a road and went on to other trails. Sorry, I don't remember their names. Overall, it was an awesome little oasis from the busy road and development. As an amateur photographer, there are some beautiful nature pictures and backdrops for potrait pictures (lighting would be helpful because of a lot of shade). Ps there are a lot of fun bridges, some of which need some repairs, still very croasable. I am notifying the city, so hopefully, they will be fixed soon. We put some boards back on one of the bridges, but that was all we could do for now."
"While we went shortly after it rained and the trails were muddy, it was still a nice park and very pleasant to walk around. There's a dock that overlooks the water, numerous benches along the trails, and multiple trails to choose from. Overall, a really great park for a relaxing hike by yourself or with others."
"Excellent mile an a half! A park playground area for the kids. A nice size lake for fishing which is also a beautiful site to see!!! If the trail was 3+ miles this would be a perfect spot for all types of trail hunters. I recommend this trial for first time, beginners and out of shape folks. It will give you a great workout if you tackle it at your physical fitness."
