"Interesting kayaking. Took us 2 hours. No place to stop and get out anywhere. Challenging to see the markers on one side. Saw 5 or 6 snakes. Was worth doing. Very peicate. No facilities"
"Great trail to canoe or kayak. It was my 1st time out here and my buddy and his wife brought me here for my new kayak's maiden voyage. Saw a few Cottonmouths and some beaver wreckage. Had a great time!!"
"Our first trip to Grassy Lake Water Train. It is Aug 31 2019 and we had a great sunrise to start the day. The water was a little low and we only made it half way before having to turn around. Best to float when there is more water. Such a neat place, we will be back for sure."
"The last day of August is pro6not ths best to go. And it was still great. We hesitated at the entrance, but glad we dug in for s few hundred yards until it opened up.Another foot of water would have helped. There was huge tree down about 3/4 of the way that we could not find a way around. Just saw one water moccasin snake chilling, not bothering anybody."
"So I visited this almost magical place this past weekend. Typically this is place is best visit in the spring time, however with the copious amounts of rain, you have a great chance to see the beauty for yourself! The trail is marked with blue markers (there are red ones too, but I can only speak for the blue trail that I followed). It's so serene and calming, the perfect place to decompress. I was using a 10 foot kayak and I was able to maneuver just fine. Best part is, there is NO trash out here. Come and become one with nature, and visit Mayflower Ar!"
