"Now that they have water and electricity we camp occasionally. Its only about 5 miles from home but it’s a nice weekend getaway. The caretakers are very nice and helpful. If you can tolerate the shooting range it’s a great stay. Never have much luck fishing though."
"This is a great little nugget of a park/ camp area. Play area, swings camp and fish..hike trails. Tent or RV camping with or without 30amp. Grills...covered area..this place is super chill. Bring your pets but obey leash law. Updated R/R and shower. Great for picnic and hanging out."
"Beautiful park. Has a nice dock for nature viewing, camping spots and a pavilion. The highlight of this park it the two hiking trails. They are relatively short and very peaceful. This park has tons of space to enjoy beautiful scenic lake and grassy fields as well as woodland."

"One of my favorite places in the whole world! Been going here since I was a little girl with my family. My dad's dying wish was for his ashes to be spread at the doc so I feel his spirit is there! The have improved immensely with bathrooms with showers and electric hook up are being installed soon! Also my brother was married there as well! Love it!"
