"Last time I was here, the food was amazing as well as the service. This time though was much different. Almost every single item of food I got was either rubbery (calamari), underdone (the catfish), or just soggy and flavorless (hush puppies and fries). The only thing that wasn’t a total disappointment was the lobster tails, which for 2 for 40 I’d surely hope it’d be decent. For a place so expensive and so confident in their food, I can’t see myself coming here again nor recommending anyone else to come here again."
"Service is great along with their affordable price! We got half a dozen raw oyster, the #1 special which comes with 1lb headless shrimp, a lb of mussels, 6 pieces of sausage, potatoes and corn. And another 1lb of crawfish in another bag that comes with a piece of potato & corn. Their complimentary seafood bread was alsooo delish! I would 100% recommend & will be back again!"
"I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant recently, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. Luigi, our server, truly went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. He was not only attentive and knowledgeable about the menu but also had a wonderful personality that added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. Now, let's talk about the food. It was an absolute seafood paradise! The freshness and quality of the seafood were outstanding. My husband ordered the Cod fries and I ordered the snow crab with mild sauce. Both orders were cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich, and the spices used in the boil were just right, giving the seafood just the right kick. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place for a seafood feast. The attention to detail in the decor added to the overall charm. In conclusion, I can't recommend this seafood boil restaurant enough. If you're a seafood lover looking for a fantastic dining experience, this is the place to be. And if you're lucky enough to have Luigi as your server, you're in for a treat. Thanks to him. We'll definitely be back!""
"Service was good and the staff was friendly, but I found it a bit slow. We had a large group, and there were only two other tables that night. Overall, it was a good time. The one item I was not a fan of was the oyster on the half, I found them rather small. I'm not a fan of their toast they brought out. I thought it was cheese bread, but it was loaded with what tasted like mayo and just too much of it. I'd eat there again but wouldn't order certain items. We were there for two birthdays. The prices aren't cheap but it's seafood and current prices on these items are high no matter where you go. I say try it."
"The food is good, but not great. The appetizer seafood bread was tasty and different. Reminded me of pistolettes in New Orleans. We had both mussels and shrimp. They were both cooked perfectly. We had a mix of boil sauces as suggested by the server. They tasted good but were gritty and not so palatable. Like sand had been mixed into the boil. The staff was pleasant but English was a rare commodity here. Being new to the restaurant and menu we wanted someone to walk us through the process. This was a little painful. We eventually got it figured out but it wasn't easy. Overall is was an ok experience. Not the greatest but not the worse either. So if you're in the mood for some seafood and you're close then give them a try. I wouldn't make a trip across town for them though."
