"We had such a great time last night! The service was excellent, and the food was even better! My steak was cooked to perfection, and you can never go wrong with a baked potato. The atmosphere was Old School Vegas with a beautiful baby grand piano in the dining area. They even had a band in the bar area. Highly recommend!"
"I haven't been here in years. I ordered the chicken noodle soup. It was awful, from a can. The wainscoting was covered in dust. The other bar food items that were served at my table were fine but I left feeling disconnected."
"Went to this place on a whim with someone I didn't know. The atmosphere was simple and a smaller dark ish environment. Couple with a few regulars here and there destroying their livers while trying to assimilate into some normal conversations of daily life. The breakfast was served quick and decent in quality. It was not the best food in the world but a place good enough for a quick bite to eat. The staff here make the place what it is. Super friendly and super attentive. The type of staff that makes the experience worthwhile."
"The place is equal parts old school lounge, sports bar, and apparently right wing rally. You read that right. Only been there once so I don’t know if this happens regularly, but last night the owner made the whole establishment stand up for the song God Bless America, which he special requested of the jazz duo onstage. Suddenly all the wall decorations made more sense. The food was adequate for a bar with a clientele in their 70s, and the place is a minor neighborhood landmark. But we went there to enjoy food and music, not to be told to get on our feet and put our hands on our hearts to display our nationalistic fervor. This isn’t a baseball game, we’re not at a GOP rally, and that’s not even the National Anthem. I mean I’m as fond of the USA as anyone, but the whole experience was quite cringe. So no, I did not stand up and put my hand on my heart, I’m in a restaurant not occupied France. There is so much division these days that it seems this kind of behavior would be clearly an unwise move. They made it obvious last night that as a business they seek a very specific clientele. And since I like restaurants that are inclusive & don’t get weirdly political, I will not be going back. Plus you can get better bar food at any of a dozen choices in the immediate area."
"This is an unassuming old school Vegas spot. There's a smoke-fee restaurant section and a bar/lounge section with live music. The clientele is older. This is not the Instagram crowd, and I say that in a good way. They have the best prime rib in town. Tender, juicy, well seasoned and perfectly prepared. My picture doesn't do it justice. The other items on the menu are generally ok. The customer service is hit or miss. The owner doesn't have the best reputation for different reasons."
