"Such a great team. Everything worked flawlessly. Thank you for being prompt and helpful."
"Went to them for advice regarding family law. They convinced they could help so I hired them. After they were paid and the case begun, they did a complete 180 telling me I had no choice but to settle in mediation, causing me to lose my case. The lawyer didn't listen to any of the concerns I had for my childs safety. When I tried to talk to them after the case was settled, it came out that it was because I wasn't willing to pay more money to go to trial. I explained multiple times I did not have the money it wasn't that I was choosing to just not pay them. Also when I brought up those safety factors the lawyer just kept asking if I had proof, which I feel was a little late to ask that question. As I do have proof. The lawyer did not read through my case and sent me down the wrong process. She said instead of the mediation I should have filed something else to hold the father accountable for the things he was supposed to be doing to keep my child safe, no drugs, no smoking, no drinking, that he actually exercise his parenting time. Because of the lawyers bad advice and incompetence I started a motion for my child's safety and it ended with the father getting 50/50. After mediation they wanted $1100 to draft up paperwork which I explained I did not have. I was not aware of that expense at the beginning. I ask for them to wait until I was paid as I was working a commission only job. They harassed me almost everyday until I fired them telling them I would not be paying them for the drafting. I never ignored them. Answered calls when I could or returned them when I had a chance. I have texts and emails showing I also responded."
"The team at Johnson/Turner legal was so understanding of my situation. They truly listened, showed sympathy, and I got what I deserved from my divorce. After a bad experience that lead in to firing a previous lawyer, who did NOT have my back. I was very impressed with their passion to providing top notch service and really had my back!!! Thank you so MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"My experience with Johnson/Turner was not a positive experience. I spent my time tracking down countless paperwork only to have them come back requesting more. This cycle went on for months, with me always reaching out them wondering where we were in the process. It took 7 months to serve my ex-wife. I was always in the dark with where I was at in the process. Eventually I had to reach out to the owner, Erin Turner, who was amazing to get things moving. However it didn't take long before my team forgot about me again. I guess I wasn't a high profile case or something. In all it took almost exactly one year to get divorced when I was told by the owner it should have taken only a few months. I think they are a good law firm because a friend had a very positive experience with them and the main reason I went with them, but unfortunately I got a team with zero interest in my case. So just a heads up, make sure you keep on your lawyer, because more than likely they will not reach out to you. Ask a lot of questions up front about the process and take notes. You will only hear it once. Finally, make sure you understand the different divorce packages. They only do what is described, not a thing more unless you pay to upgrade your package. In my case I had to do all of the negotiation with my ex-wife's lawyer. Negotiation is an upgraded package I learned later in the process. $5,500 gets you paperwork (that you provide) and filing with the state. Advice, well good luck that, better sharpen your negotiation skills or pay another 2-3k. In the end I really liked the owner and the senior paralegal that took over in the end. My lawyer was full of excuses, never answered my emails, if i wanted to talk with her it two to three weeks to get on her schedule and all she wanted to do was sell me more expensive packages. Every task, and I mean every task my lawyer had to do was delayed, forgotten, and took 6x more time than it should. I did get divorced, but it was very painful, I had no idea what i was doing and the communication from my lawyer was nil. I can't recommend Johnson/Turner, but i wouldn't discount them either, maybe I just had a very bad experience and it was anomaly."
"I honestly wish I'd gone somewhere else. I didn't feel like my lawyer fought for me in any way throughout my divorce. I didn't feel like I received any advice and they didn't really make me feel like it was ever ok to answer questions. I paid over 15k for one mediation session in which custody was determined and then to simply draft the rest of the divorce. My lawyer was on vacation more than in the office working on my case. I would not recommend as the price didn't equal good service."
