Reviews
"Well, I'm not really a Dim Sum fan, but this restaurant is pretty good. There were some dishes I liked and others not so much. But even the dishes I didn't like were cooked well and had nice presentation. The dining area was clean, and the atmosphere was good. Lots of light and not to loud. There is no restroom in the restaurant so you have to go onto the casino floor. However, it is really close. The staff was friendly and attentive. They were at out table a lot which was nice."
"I ordered the special sauce spare rib. It was a little tough to eat. I didn’t like how the tea cost $5 for two pots. Each cup of rice was $3-$5 so we didn’t order them. The other food was good."
"One of the best dim sum of the trip. We went there twice. we are from Singapore and this is authentic Hong Kong Cantonese stuff. Dim Sum on Push Cart. If you want to get green vegetable, they do it how the Chinese like and it comes out green! Har Gao, Siew Mai, Pork Ribs, Prawn Cheong Fun, Ham Siu Kok was all good! They do have the chilli (hot sauce) we like too!"
"Good food, came in a fairly timely manner. However, for a place called Dim Sum restaurant they should probably serve it all day and not just 10-3pm. Also, my wife (Latina) and I (white male) got the distinct impression they didn’t want us to be there. Upon requesting a Corona and a Lucky Buddha beer we were told that they were out if both so we ordered alternatives. The family behind us had a Corona on their table so either they lied or that was the last one. Next we asked for hot and sour soup without pork. The waitress didn’t write this down and lo and behold when the soup came out, it had some meat in it that looked like pork. We asked the waitress who told us it was “chicken”. This meat had the colour and texture of pork (see photo). Everyone makes mistakes which I can deal with, I just don’t like being lied to. The staff didn’t make much eye contact and couldn’t wait to rush off from our table, despite us saying “excuse me”. Took several attempts to get peoples attention except when it was to pay. Then they were glued to our table to see how much we would tip."
"Worst customer service ever! If you really want to know how much patience a person has bring them here to eat… Came in for some dim sum and they passed us by and every time we tried to get their attention we were ignored by them and our server… We weren’t the only ones either, there was a couple (white people) and at another table an older gentleman whom finally got fed up and stopped the manager to complain about being ignored and passed by. Food however is DELICIOUS!!!! Coconut buns are awesome too!i"
