"Very disappointed with my meal and my boyfriends meal. He got the “insane chicken with waffles” that comes with yams. His plate was overflowing with yams to the point the waffles were so soggy and extremely sweet that it couldn’t be eaten. The fried chicken started to get soggy as well. The only thing he was able to eat is the chicken. I got the catfish which was good but the sides weren’t. The Mac n cheese was bland and the collard greens were spicy. I only ate the fish. We have been here once before and had really good meals but this was so bad."
"Most of the food was over salted, and a bit pricy. The CatFish was AMAZING and Gluten Free. I loved the Secret Menu. But that too was heavily salted Amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable staff."
"I have been to Vegas many many times over the years & have eaten many places, but let me tell you that this place is top 5 easily. The staff is very nice & they take time to explain the menu & the options. But don't worry, ANYTHING you pick is gonna be good. I'm always skeptical when someone talks about how good they are, but they have really backed it up. I got 2 different entrees to really see what they were working with. Everything & I do mean everything was seasoned to perfection. You can tell that they have put a lot of thought into the menu & cook with love. I forgot to mention the variety of Kool aid! It was so good & wasn't overly sweetened. When I come back I'll have about 20 vets rolling with me in the next few months. Great job guys!"
"Friendly service. I happened to visit just when their power had gone off. I was able to order the OG and and the sides I wanted anyway since they had that available. I'll have to check back in to have the dine in experience with drinks and all."
"5 Star and beyond! This restaurant is the best restaurant I have been to in year's. Amazing true soul food that feeds your spirit. It was a brilliant food experience I,am now A customer for life. If you love soul food this is the restaurant for you. They also do catering and Thanksgiving order's! Enjoy I definitely did & will again."
