Reviews of Walmart Supercenter
"They were very nice when they stopped me Exiting the store with an accidental unpaid for Item..I let my younger friend scan the items and I just swiped my card ... wouldn't you know it...an item was not scanned... I was super embarrassed but it wasn't a big deal .. I just went to the service desk and paid"
"I hate this and all Walmarts, it seems there is no customer service anymore. And then they accuse you of stealing before you even leave the store, by that I mean having a person check your items at the door as if you didn't pay for them. I really really hate Walmart. I only shop there when I have to. I prefer Dollar general I rather pay a little bit more just to have some customer service people that help you when you need something in a timely manner unlike Walmart that will leave you standing there in front of the electronics aisle for 45 minutes trying to get some help to unlock something so you can purchase it and then treat you like you're going to steal it. I do not recommend Walmart to anybody. I do however recommend Dollar general I love that place."
"Slowest tire service that you can even see!! 3 hours to change 2 tires. Only 2 tires and 3 hours. 1.5 hour per tire change. Don't go there!! You will lose all your day. I even not talking about wait time. If you get 2 cars in front of you then good luck if your turn comes in 4 hours."
"They seem unable to keep electric carts for those with disabilities available. Otherwise it's a fairly standard Walmart supercenter with variable prices depending on the item which means it makes sense to get a feel for what is actually good value there versus a markup before making purchases. I'm docking a lot of points for the lack of accessibility as they also do not have sufficient handicap parking and have elected to use a type of handicap parking that I've yet to find somebody with mobility difficulties actually needing and it ends up taking the space of what could have been two to three handicap spots. This has been a discussion on a variety of social media boards and as far as I can tell no one's exactly sure what the reason for the design is beyond calling extra attention to themselves and actually making it harder for those with disabilities to use the store as there's simply not enough spaces now. Additionally on my last visit they made a lot of noise about the fact that they were going to introduce quiet hours and it kind of felt like they were intentionally making those announcements as obnoxious as possible as though to say hey look at us were being accessible but it just came across as tone deaf again."
"I have shopped at the Arroyo location for over 12 years and enjoyed missing the crowds when the store was open 24 hours. The store is usually pretty well stocked and clean. However, there has been a noticeable change in management in the last few years. The cashiers and deli are rude. The deli staff ignores that you are standing in front of them and continue to talk amongst themselves in Tagalog and become annoyed when you ask for an order. Due to these issues, we decided to give Walmart Plus subscription a try. I have had ongoing issues with 90% of our orders. Either the items have gotten stolen by the driver or the quality of the fresh produce is very poor. In one single order today I received spoiled black mold apples, moldy $9 strawberries and white mold potatoes (picture below). Walmart needs to to do something to remedy these issues as they are beginning to lose loyal customers. Very disappointed."
