"Experience was just ok. Food is served in to-go containers with prewrapped plastic wear. We got there at 1 and many items were not ready. Our server was great! She was quick, responsive, super nice. Our party was large (13/14). I didn't get her name (but we there 10/28) at 1ish. Probably won't come back though. FOOD: Cornbread: Is a corneal pancake -fried catfish is tasty! -mac and cheese was not cooked all the way and cold in parts. Almost like they took it out early to serve us but it needed to stay in the oven at least 30 more minutes. -red beans and rice tasted like Chili not red beans and the rice looked different. I can't put my finger on what it was -cabbage was good but it's just a sauté not much seasoning -yams are ok but very sweet, like just sugar sweet. No cinnamon or nutmeg. - fried pork chop was fried well but not seasoned - fried chicken (same as pork chop)"

"This food was absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the fried chicken (spices were amazing)10/10, French Fries (well seasoned) 9/10, Mac and Cheese (very flavorful) 9/10, and the rice and gravy (could use more favor, take some from the chicken) 7/10. I ordered the fried catfish (again slices were amazing) 10/10, greens (wow) 10/10, cabbage (delicious) 9/10. Overall a great experience here. Unfortunately they had already sold out of Ox Tail for the day, next time."

"Came here to satisfy a soul food craving. The service was good and our waitress was nice but the flavor of the food was just ok. The macaroni didn't have a good mac to cheese ratio and the fried chicken needed heavier seasoning. However, I did like the yams and string beans. I would come back but I might try different items."

"I had the catfish dinner with rice and gravy, collards, potato salad and corn bread. Absolutely DELICIOUS! My mom had the dark chicken with yams, string beans and potato salad. All dinners come with 3 sides and a fried piece of corn bread. Everything tasted ssssooo GGGOODDD!! I'm convinced you can't go wrong with any dish here. The 2 young ladies at the front gave great service! I also liked the pictures on the wall of celebrities that have visited here."
