"For a very long time I been wanting to go here, but I feel like I need to bring someone along because you want to try a lot of their dishes and because they are in the pricey side. This is the moment I have been waiting for. Thank you, friends and family, for the meal. ( I know I ordered the most expensive one but for REVIEWS!) Linguini Uni Tomato Cream Sauce is a must. It's a decadent dish that melds sweetness with the rich creamytomato sauce and briny flavor. The italian and japanese fusion just make sense, its perfection. Also, the Hamburg Steak is a must try as well reminds me of my childhood. My mom used to cook this, and I would put the gravy on the rice, not the steak. Lastly, the Bruschetta Nakamura-ya style is beautifully presented and can not be missed."
"Trust the Chef Specials and the recommendations on the board. Great Japanese Italian Fusion food items. Items that are standouts: Uni Pasta and Chilean Sea-Bass. Baby Octopus Karaage and Takoyaki. The Dessert Sampler was wonderful as well - just right in portion size and sugar level (flavorful and not overly sweet). This restaurant is worthy of return visits."
"Nice hole in the wall restaurant. Different experience with the italian/oriental flavors. The shrimp scampi and mushrooms sauce was very good with nice flavors. The carpaccio with a white truffle oil was okay but I didn't feel like the two paired well together or the truffle oil was overpowering all the other flavors. Also tried the crab cream coquette which was very creamy and good. Would try this place again in the future."
"[Above all, will I be back?] I've been eyeing on this place for a while and finally had a chance to visit! I had two entrées and unexpectedly one was a hit, the other one was a miss (The appetizer was just ok). As a Vegas local, I would give it another try for different menu next time. 1. Food - (3/5) Complimentary bread & butter It was okay. Nothing special. - (4/5) Caprese It was okay, nothing special. The ingredients were fresh. I would try different their signature appetizer next time. - (5/5) Miso Carbonara This is a true Japanese Italian fusion cuisine! It was really good as I love both Miso Ramen and Pasta. :) The best combination of both lol It is more like noodle soup than pasta with full of flavor. The pancetta & fried burdock (root) slices on top of it were a cherry on top to enjoy different texture! Portion was good as well but I was sad, every bite the the bowl shows the bottom. I could eat this every other day! Hands down for this, next time again! - (1/5) Squid Ink Risotto ($27) So disappointing. I don't know what kind of flavor they tried to aim but I didn't taste either flavor or fragrance. $28 for just rice with black ink? I wouldn't recommend. 2. Ambience It is a little, cozy mom & pop vibe restaurant with about 10 tables. It gave me an impression the food would be home-made style. I loved it. 3. Service The server was friendly, attentive and fast. * I don't know why but there were two people in the kitchen were looking at us almost the whole time since the the foods were served and it made me feel uncomfortable. 4. Hygiene Glasses, plates, utensils, table and floor were clean. 5. Price About average. 6. Location It is in the busy restaurant area (like Monta Noodle, Raku, Zen curry house, etc) on Decature and Spring Mountain Road in Chinatown. Less than 15 minutes from the Strip. 7. Parking Parking can be tricky sometimes as lot is small. 8. ETC - Gluten free option is available. ** If this review was helpful, please vote :) Instagram @juxycat **"
"We had a team dinner here on a recent trip to Vegas - Holy amazing fusion dishes, Batman!! The combinations of Asian and Italian influences was so well executed and DELICIOUS!! Try the Risotto (Japanese barley base) and ANYTHING with a miso cream sauce. Just WOW! I wasn't fond of the sausage app - oddly similar to hot dogs cut in a fancy way."
