Thai Taste

"Did not meet expectations like before, from service to food quality. We enjoyed thai taste each of our previous visits. Perhaps due to new management? We ordered 3 things of curry for dinner and didn't received the amount we were expecting. Can't remember if this was always the normal dinner size but felt like we were short changed a little. Definitely felt that way on the rice. When asked Pete (I presume was the guy on the phone) if the rice boxes we suppose to be full, he ensured me that they were. "If it wasn't enough, you could order more." Gentle way of saying sorry, but oh well. All of the curries were very soupy and lacked that "edge" in regards to flavor. The rice was also old. Similar to what you would find at the bottom of the rice cooker being placed on warm for half the day. Most likely won't be back."

"First, we googled local authentic Thai restaurants and Thai Taste was nearby. The outside was unassuming and I had no idea I was about to experience such a delightful meal. The sweet waitress Nam was helpful and pointed to typed explanations when she struggled with English. It worked and we learned all about Thai and Lao style and she offered two styles of everything and we pointed to both most of the time. Tried a lot. Papaya salad in Lao with added shrimp was tasty and spicy. The coconut drinks, especially the roasted flavor, were simple and refreshing too. I also liked the nice green backdrop as wallpaper inside the building. Highly recommend."

"I love the food here! Fantastic creamy yellow curry, wonderful strong tom kah, superb Thai basil seafood and perfect Thai beef jerky served with spicy green chile sauce. Their Thai tea was delicious. Fast friendly indoor dining service in a small mini-mall style dining room. Unfortunately, sodas are only available in cans, no soda fountain. Otherwise, five stars."
