"This food was so saltyyy! Now y’all know this food is salty. I got cash fish nuggets and a piece of red snapper. Now I’ll give this place some grace, maybe they had a heavy handed employee present on this day 3/22/24. But it was my first impression so, not sure I’ll be coming back. Now, other than that the food had a good flavor. I grasped the idea of the flavor they were going for and it was good but of course, it was salty. And I actually like salt. But this was stroke-worthy, seriously. So, other than that the red snapper was over cooked. Their fries are skinny and were fried too hard they were mostly like chips. The catfish had a good crisp on it. That’s all I got. I’d suggest dialing it back a lot on the salt, possibly changing the fries to a thicker cut if you’re gonna fry them that hard and re-educate yourselves on how long and at what temps to cook seafood. It’s delicate and doesn’t need to be cooked too long. Good luck."
"Very nice portions. The fries were great. The Mac and cheese was basic and the fish was fresh but way too salty. If the ease up on the salt this will be the place to go for fish."
"It was my first time visiting an establishment like this. You step up to the kiosk and place your order with a restaurant of your choice. There are 25 to choose from. You also pay through the kiosk. Once your food is cooked the restaurant chef brings the food to the front. You tip the cook or you can tip at the kiosk. There's no cash kept on the premises which is safer for all parties. The food was terrific and hit the spot! If you're looking for fresh soul food, try Fry Dayz, it's well worth the cost."
"I hate doing my people like this but this food was trash! I just spent $60 on Uber eats and I’m going to bed hungry. The whiting was just ok. The shrimp was not good due to the seasoning and the breading. The wings, I asked for crispy, they are super flabby and I’m currently trying to dry them out in the oven. The Mac and cheese was ok. Haven’t tried the cobbler yet but I’m so annoyed with everything else I just may trash it on GP. The tops of the Mac and cheese and cobbler were both smashed in with bits of plastic from the cap in the Mac and cheese. Perhaps that happened in transit but, if packed properly it shouldn’t have happened. Perhaps my east coast taste buds are different but this was surprisingly bad food. I hope I caught them on a bad day. The peach cobbler is actually really good."
