"I am a parent of 3 kids 2 of which went to this school for a very short period of time as it seemed like this school had more expectations then a public school and them going to school in person. they also didn't follow my son's iep the way they should have which made him not want to go at all. I was thinking of putting my youngest son in this school once he is old enough but he will also be going to in person school. i feel this school put my kids way behind."
"I had the most frustrating experience with this school. Ultimately I had a paperwork issue, however the amount of CONFUSION demonstrated by staff just prolonged the whole process. Lastly, after ALL of the drama of their disorganization and unprofessionalism I get a call from the director who was sure to let me know he wouldn't "sugar coat" anything, as if the rest of the staff is trained to do just that. I never desired or requested for my time to be wasted...I can say that I am grateful for my paperwork issue because it gave me insight on what our interaction with this school could be lik and trying to get an education should NEVER be so difficult."
"MN Connections Academy was a lifesaver for my daughter...literally! After dealing with bullying through the public school system and grades slipping, MN Connections gave new life. Her grades improved drastically, the teachers were always so helpful and encouraging, and this place made a world of a difference. I will have a graduate this spring with all the tools necessary to succeed in furthering education! I can't express my gratitude enough."
"Elementary parents looking for online options- look elsewhere! We're new to CC this year and it has been disappointing. My kids has had three homeroom teachers, the teachers miss meetings, the worksheets are emailed sometimes randomly instead of being online, and the online format is NOT user friendly. The lessons for 3rd grade are just the online disks you get with text books. The math is a bit better and is put together well. My biggest complaint is the assessments are a mess and do not follow current pedagogy. I have a MS and I'm almost done with my PhD- I've seen instructors throw together curriculum in a couple weeks better than this long standing school. Not to mention the user interface is like navigating an early 2000's banking website. I have no idea why there's all these good reviews on google (tricked me)"
"It is really good, you get to have your own schedule. Also the teachers always help when you need help, also they are always in a positive mood. Which makes the learning experience a lot more fun than it already is. If you a deciding to go take classes I would highly recommend because you won't lose social skills because we field trips you can attend almost everyday."
