Reviews of Montana Meat Company - Centennial Center Blvd
"I ordered a chicken breast it looks like a personal pan pizza and tastes horrible. I asked for Mashed potatoes they put red meat gravy on top. Lousy food. My husband ordered the ribeye that supposedly they were famous for, they didn't bother adding any type of seasoning this is the worst food we've ordered."
"Ventured into Montana Meat Company, and it felt like stepping straight into a scene from a classic Western – the decor pays a fitting tribute to its Montana roots. The crowd, a mix of families and workers, seemed right at home among the antique paraphernalia. The staff was upbeat and on the ball, despite the post-dinner rush. Tried the Pot Roast – tender, flavorful, and just like what you'd hope for in a place like this, with sides that complemented perfectly. The tables and floors were spotless, reflecting their commitment to a clean and inviting dining space. This spot’s a win for anyone craving a hearty meal with a side of nostalgia. Can't wait to mosey on back."
"This was my 1st time and it was amazing. We sat on the bar side and the staff was awesome. Service was great and fast. The food was so good. We had to order more onion rings, they were amazing. The plumb sauce is the best, on everything. Will be back."
"My family and I have visited this restaurant three times now - all visits were spread out to about 2-3 years in between visits. My overall rating of this place fluctuated for each visit because the service and atmosphere were definitely not consistent at all. During our most recent visit, it took a while for someone to greet us when we walked in. When the hostess finally acknowledged our presence and sat us, it took a while for someone to come take our order. In fact, there was a couple that arrived ~8-10 minutes after us and got their order in before we were even asked what we wanted to drink (they had a different server). Seemed to me that our server was pre-occupied with other things rather than focusing on her table(s). This less than adequate service was similar to our first visit; pretty slow and not as attentive from the employees. However, we did receive outstanding service from our second visit (wish I would've retrieved the names that were serving us). In addition, maybe we arrived randomly at the most awful times for servers because it just seemed like the whole world was coming down on them - no one seemed as friendly/happy to be there, nor did they seem like they wanted to serve customers. We also didn't receive any bread at the beginning of our meal (I thought that was standard for every table...no?) I know they gave us some during our first/second visits. I am not John the Breadmaking Fool, so this wasn't a showstopper for me; just a little concerning if we were supposed to get it. And I didn't realize it until after our meal was done when I glanced over at a couple tables. The atmosphere of this place is decent - I understand the choice of decor and colors; however, considering we live in Las Vegas, and everything in this city tends to lean towards the modern era, I would recommend freshening up the place and make it a little "lighter" in color. You can still have that rustic look outside to attract certain customers, but inside should be brightened up. But that's just my opinion...a lot of other people probably like it as is. Also, definitely nothing on the restaurant (I think), but during each of our visits, we've never observed any families with young kids eating here...I'm sure they do eat here, it's just we didn't see any. And yes, we've eaten here around 6-7 pm so it being "too late" for little kids is not even a discussion. But maybe it's because the type of people this restaurant attracts is questionable at times considering we had a group sitting next to us dropping the F-Bomb constantly. Either or, I rated the atmosphere as average, between all three visits. And now for the food... My family and I have tried the Wings (Seoul Sauce, Mild Buffalo Sauce, Parmesan and Fresh Garlic); Clam Chowder, French Onion Soup, Ribeye, Montana Ribeye, Pot Roast, Baby Back Ribs, Filet Mignon, Big Sky Burger, Blackened Salmon, and Crab-Stuffed Chicken. I won't go through every entree and provide you with a flavor profile to each, but I will say that overall, the food here is good. In comparison to cooking our own steaks and visiting some of the mid-to-high end steakhouses in the Las Vegas-Summerlin areas, I wouldn't necessarily boast about this restaurant's steak quality, BUT, all the other items I mentioned above is worth having a conversation. Also, the onion rings were awesome...but the rice pilaf is not worth eating again. Overall, this restaurant is ok (as depicted with my 3-star rating). This is definitely one of those restaurants we eat at only if all other Las Vegas places have been exhausted or declined during our "deciding what to have for dinner conversation," and don't feel like driving too far from the Northwest part of the city to venture to other places. Some may say that's a good thing; some may say that's awful - you be the judge. Regardless, this place is average but still worth the visit if you've never been here before."
