"160 was great. Emma made the orientation and classroom experience go well. She was able to answer all questions I had. Warren is perfect for the online zoom for the classroom learning the first week. He has an energetic personality that keeps you from loosing interest and keeps you engaged. He is also very knowledgeable with all thing trucking. Then when you get to the yard. They get you hands on straight away. I was in the truck driving my second day. Rick was good and very knowledgeable about everything. I learned something new from him every time I went out on the road. He also has a calm and funny demeanor. So you don't get nervous on the road. Kevin was always fun to go on the road with also. A lot of knowledge to share. Scotty was the backing instructor. He is good at working with you until it clicks. He will explain the procedure and walk with you. Then after some frustration you get the ahha moment and the backing gets easier. All the instructors are good guys. They all get excited to see people succeed. They have been trucking their whole life. They have a passion for sharing there knowledge. However, they can't do it for you. It is definitely upto you to put the work in. Pass the quizzes. Learn the pre trip and in cab. They can teach. They can't do it. Put the work in and be self motivated is key. Don't go to one of them schools that put you in a simulator. You want get the feel for the truck. These people are one on one. You don't have three people riding with while you are trying to learn. Best thing. I think the pass rate is 98%. Most pass their first time. If manual is your goal. 160 does not charge you extra like them other guys. Come put the work in. You will succeed with these guys. One thing I wish were different. I wish I would have trained in a 42' trailer instead of the 28'. The 53' are looking big now. Lol Chris V."

"I’ve had my CDL for about 3-4 months now ! Shout out to 160 driving academy. They are very professional and educated with the way they teach you about commercial driving ! From the classroom to the yard. The classroom was great. Emma is a very friendly kind hearted woman who is also very professional, and precise, she’s very good at responding quickly and promptly to any questions and concerns you may have it really makes the classroom feel at ease! Even after I graduated she helped me look for a job and still responded to my emails about work and other ideas for my Newley obtained Cdl.! Also shout out to Rick and the guys on the yard ! With the 4 or 6 week program you will be prepared to pass on your first try just like I did shout out to 160 driving academy. If you were looking for school this is the one."
