"We really wanted to like this place- but there was a lot during our experience that was just subpar. Let start with general out service; A solid 40 minutes had passed before we got our drinks and I had been hard eying them from our table because we could see them at the bar. As for the general quality of the drinks our group had mixed opinions on that but I enjoyed mine (it was a pinky swear). The food came out at different intervals, and the first interval was cold?? As if it were forgotten on the line. This left part of our group being able to eat before the others. Interval two came out and it was also lukewarm?? The last interval finally came and we still had to request items that didn’t make it like chips and salsa/guac. Full disclosure we had 6 people with about 2 items each (starter + taco or taco + side) and there was no rhyme or reason for the order of the food. If I were to rate the food- it was pretty good but hard to enjoy when you’re starved at your table for an hour. I think the neighboring Japanese restaurant sensed trouble and was able to bring over some fried chicken to share as a promotional piece (which I will add was pretty good) and I feel if all our food had been able to come out 1,) hot, 2.) on time and 3) all together it would have salvaged the experience. Overall- my two cents is I think there is a lot of inexperience happening between management, servers and kitchen staff so what we have is the blind leading the blind. I hope it’ll improve and we’ll revisit at a future date."
"The food was incredibly spicy; I’m not sure why this wasn’t indicated on the menu. Seriously, be careful folks. I understand the concept, but do better for what you’re charging. We’re locals and we love good food, but this experience was very anticlimactic. I’d go to El Dorado at Tivoli Village over this any day of the week."
"We happened to show up on Taco Tuesday. I actually jumped in and enjoyed the food so much I forgot to take a picture until it was almost done. We tried 3 different types of tacos, the nachos, a hibiscus Agra Fresca, and the churros. Everything was spicy, which I liked but someone else in the party was overwhelmed by. Thanks to our really nice server, Boston, and the whole staff at BS Taqueria and The Sundry who made us feel welcome and made our experience a positive one! We didn’t realize it closed at 9pm (The Sundry closes at 10pm so we were just confused), and Boston didn’t pressure us to leave until we were done. He just let us know when last call was so we could order the churros. (The hostess for BS Taqueria could have made eye contact with me, but she seemed like she was busy judging my unusual dress.)"
"The food was beyond spicy and was inedible. Very disappointing and waste of over $100."
"My wife and I are from LA where Ray Garcia's restaurants are famous. No surprise that this BS Taqueria has the same DNA. Food is delicious and the cocktails outstanding. Great thoughtful selection of agave spirits, Tequila, Mezcal, etc. We're lucky to live in the area. The restaurant is located in the Sundry, the new food hall that is probably the coolest thing to ever happen in LV."
