The Human Bean 8860 South Durango Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89113

"We swung by the newly-opened Human Bean near our house this morning and ordered a Mocha and a dark roast drip coffee. There is no interior to the store, only a walk-up or drive-thru, and they sell no coffee beans. The majority of the menu is fruity drinks, cold brew, and flavorings. They only had one kind of coffee (a pretty uninspired medium roast), and when we asked about or coffee bean options the clerk seemed a little lost and annoyed. She was nice and friendly, but you could tell this isn't that kind of place. The mocha was smooth but the 16oz cup only had 210g of coffee and milk in it - a cappuccino amount of foam. The drip coffee was more or less flavorless, i suppose so you can customize the drinks with their flavoring combinations. Added onto the fact the oven was out so there was no breakfast options other than a muffin - The Human Bean just isn't cutting it when Aware Coffee, Bad Owl Coffee, Royal Coffee, and a half dozen other places are 5-10 minutes away."

"I enjoy this place a lot. Close to Home and better than my normal go-to coffee shop. Each time I've been there they have been so friendly, and helpful also remember you. The explanation of types of drinks has been perfect. An excellent cup of iced latte to fit my taste. Happy customer!"

"A newly opened local café is easy to access by walking, parking or driving. During my visit, I tried two different flavors of coffee and the friendly staff explained to me the ratio of coffee and flavor blends. The waiting time was short and the hazelnut chocolate lids on the cups were interesting. The mexi coffee had a great flavor and I'm excited to try the other flavors in the future. Before I left, I was given a coupon for a new event. The staff provided passionate, professional and attentive service which made me feel valued as a customer."

However, there was a minor hiccup during my first visit. I was charged an additional 50 cents over the menu price for both of the drinks I ordered. Overall, The Human Bean offers a fantastic coffee experience with its combination of top-notch brews and efficient service. This small pricing issue, hopefully just a one-time oversight, doesn't significantly detract from the many positives this coffee shop has to offer."
