"Beautiful scenery with the mountains in the background. Great view from the bridge. There was a playground here when I was a kid but only remnants of swing sets now. There are still nice pavilions with picnic tables and Horse shoes. Horse flies were terrible but worth the stop for the view. There js a small swimming hole at the bottom of the spillway we swam in as kids. It looks the same!"
"Beautiful, small area. Pull off to the left before crossing the spillway to park--the flat rocks in the creek beneath are perfect for a picnic. The lake is not very accessible from this area. May want to visit Lake Winona Access boat ramp for better lake views and access."
"Live 15 minutes away if I stop at Feltys for a Dollar bag of ice! Awesome always fresh running water ."
"Nice view of Winona but really not much there. Couple pavilions and a grill. No water that I could see. Spillway is cool with a nice creek downstream."
