"I wish to rate this school a 0. They're so unorganized, rude and unprofessional. Two of my siblings went to this school for about 2 years. There was many times the bus would refuse to wait (policy has drivers wait 1-5 mins) but he/she drove off. I had talked to the transportation guy who's in charge at CSE, he said "you need to have your kids outside 5 mins before", I'm like, "yes, that’s correct and the children’s DO look out for their bus because the bus picks them up right in front of the house! why let them go out if for example, it’s freezing cold out..., i’d rather have them stay indoors and look out for the bus? the guy then said i was giving an attitude and he wasn’t going to tolerate. caught by surprise, i then told him that it’s not an attitude but frustration because they’re not listening! Another problem that had been ongoing was their sick call in policy or whatsoever. I get it for the safety of the child which you have to verify that you're the child’s family to be able to make some sort of notice or acknowledgment— there had been numerous occasions that I had to call in sick for the child but was immediately refused because they told me, “I wasn’t on the family list” and “to filled out an update family list” and to my knowledge, i had filled out multiple family list forms (the beginning of the school and one time during conferences); the school says the same thing over and over again "you're not on the family list, so they can’t process their attendance". *hangs up* with the whole issue of them not updating the family list, they lack responsibility and professionalism. THIS IS BEYOND RIDICULOUS!!! As to having the responsibility for my siblings education, I had to transfer them out of there! *fast forward* they’re now doing a lot better at their current schools; the children’s learning have improved dramatically, ALL families were acknowledged and respected by the schools which is stress-free compared to when they were at CSE! CSE has lost 2 great students!"
"Community School of Rxcellence is a High quality school for pre K through 8th grade. It is a Hmong cultural and language school which is support of and welcoming to all!"
"My 2 sons go there. The school nice and especially when I went pick up my 2 sons they ask for a # so that mean my kids don't get pick up by strangers."
"Brought to the attention of principal Mo Chang and expressed concern over an incident of a 12 year old swearing and bullying my 6 year old son. After the her investigation - I kid you not - her response was that my 6 year old boy was as much at fault as the 12 year old! There is no situation, none whatsoever that calls for 12 year old middle schooler telling a 6 year old to stfu. With a principal with that kind of mentality and lack of common sense no wonder the school is being investigated for fraud. I don't know about you but I will not let my kids attend this school as long as the current administration is in place. Pulling my kids out ASAP. Edit: I second the horrible lice infestation mentioned by another reviewer. I know of a girl with a lice infestation that has been ongoing for 2 years and the school fails to do anything about it and keeps readmitting her."
"Refused to let my sister get on the bus as a kindergartener even though I had other siblings on there saying she needs to get on. Not to mention horrible lice problem there."
